And Jones story was not believable. Something happened— just not with Kavanaugh

No, she looks like a woman whose life has been destroyed. And regardless of who you believe, this much is true.

I feel bad for her. I really do. I think that look is the look of a woman who has learned things about her husband she didn’t want to know. I admit that I have first hand experience (I wish I didn’t) with how men, particularly professional white men, lie in court when they are caught doing something they shouldn’t have beenndoing, specifically abusing women in some way. Kavanaugh vhecked all the boxes. Combative, righteous indignation, lots of detail about things you are not asking about, little to no detail about what you need to know about. Lots of poor me, how could you suggest let alone accuse me of this? Attacking the questooner (Have you ever been black out drunk?). I saw men behave like Kavenaugh and we were lucky, we had audio and video documentation of their abuse.

I feel bad for her. I think she has doubt and she feels trapped. I’m including her and her kids in my prayers along w/Dr. Ford and her family. She needs them.

I feel bad for her, too. She looked angry and devastated. I felt like it was anger at him, not at the process. None of this is her fault. She likely had no idea.

Kavanaugh was the one that looked unhinged. Good coaching by Bill Shine.

Ford was credible. I don't know who Jones is - is there another victim coming forward? I have no doubt the FBI will find more victims and witnesses. There are already witnesses all over the news who know him and point out that he lied under oath (PERJURY) when he said he didn't drink so much he blacked out. He lied so much!

Her face, she really is only believing him about things she has seen with her own eyes now. She believes him when he says their dd said to pray for Dr. Ford, because she was there. She believes him when he says his dad keeps a calendar. She believes he likes beer. She really isn't sure he is telling the truth for the rest of it.

We witnessed clinical alcohol withdrawal with Brett kavanaugh.

Reading posters' reactions to the hearing reminds me that confirmation bias is real.

Not always! I really wanted to believe him and dismiss Ford but I couldn’t!

Her face in response to his yelling. She looks like she has been a victim of his abuse at home. She actually looked scared of him.

His behavior at the hearing spoke volumes.

Ethics lawyers could easily spot the issues.

Why is Kavanaugh so opposed to an FBI investigation? What is he afraid they will find?

I think the longer this drags out more victims will come out. The lose ends from existing information will be tied up.

It was painful to see that. I know what you mean.

Imagine if Ford has acted the way Kavanaugh had-being belligerent, rude to Senators, and throwing tantrums. It’s unbelievable the double standard in place for women.
