2014 was a great year at our firm and the bonuses are much better than any year since the recession:

Industry: Finance (Consulting)
Bonus: $75k
Experience: 10yrs
Base: $450k

you live in an old dc home that needs remodeling, make 450 a year plus bonus, work in finance and can't manage your money very well.

Let's say you have not been making 450 a year let's say 200 a year for 10 years and you stil have to spend your bonus????

Can't manage money well? We live on 1 income; mine, save for retirement, save for college, give money to parents, our church and local and international charities etc. Oh and these are all BEFORE tax numbers.

Can't manage money well? We live on 1 income; mine, save for retirement, save for college, give money to parents, our church and local and international charities etc. Oh and these are all BEFORE tax numbers.
