I don’t know where to tell you to search them, but the rumors about him are pretty… they’re not gross or anything, but they’re pretty big accusations (hence why I am not writing down completely unsourced rumors). Allegedly, the brother that William ran out of the country has been the sacrificial lamb for the royal rota. William would do something huge and a negative story (that sold beaucoup papers) about the other brother would appear, while the William story would never make it into print.

But they’re being held over his head. And it seems like the dam has sprung a few leaks.

I think this has been pretty common knowledge for quite some time now. Sort of an open secret a la the Weinstein scandal(s).

Meghan in turn became the “sacrificial lamb” for the royal family at large. It’s all incredibly sordid, and history will not remember this period of BRF history kindly.

Most people have no idea what either of you are talking about, even in real time. They certainly aren't going to remember anything.

Nah, you're misinformed.

No. The only people that will care in the future are the same people like uoh who weirdly and obsessively care now.

I mean, isn't that how it works for any chapter of any history? The people who care to know the details will know. The people who don't, won't.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, is destined one day to be king. Determined to serve his country as his grandmother, the Queen has so selflessly done for seven decades, William is the epitome of a loving husband to Catherine, and a devoted father to their three children: George, Charlotte and Louis.

In public, William appears calm, balanced and determined. He is passionate about safeguarding the environment and helping to protect species under threat of extinction. The Duke and his wife have also worked tirelessly to remove the stigma that continues to mark mental health problems.

In private, however, those close to him say that William, while being a dedicated servant of the Crown can be volatile, defying his calm, family-guy public demeanour. It is also said that while William demands deference from royals of lower rank, he rarely shows it to those above him.

This is the definitive account – insightful and nuanced – of the life of the Duke of Cambridge as he approaches his milestone birthday. Jobson explores the complex character of the man who will one day reign as King William V. It is the story of the making of a king for our times.

Interesting. I don’t doubt that William is entitled, arrogant and even volatile. I am surprised, though, that he “rarely shows (deference) to those (ranking) above him.” Wouldn’t that small group only include the Queen, Prince Charles — who is financially supporting him, and Camilla? It’s hard for me to imagining William being less than deferential to the Queen. Or biting the hand that feeds him when it comes to his father and his father’s wife.

Does Camilla actually outrank William?

I believe so, since she’s married to the actual heir to the throne (not the heir to the heir).

Palace has finally acknowledged what's been going for a year. Queen is incapacitated. Good luck to the Cambridges, its now them, a set of septuagenarians, and a llama to deploy.

The Countess of Wessex' partner for Black History day in the UK. The royals are just so so bad at this.

*snort* God Save The King and his mistress is going to be some BS.

Now when I hear it, I think of Zelensky. Reportedly, he told Boris Johnson that Ukrainian soldiers cry God Save the Queen when they fire British NLAWS at Russian tanks.

Love that story.

Today is also reporting that H&M secretly visited her on Thursday. https://www.today.com/video/prince-harry-and-meghan-markle-secretly-visit-queen-elizabeth-137790533521

She also missed Easter Services this am.

Just saw the Easter mass photos on dailymail

Yikes some of those dresses. Kate looks nice in the color blue - but not sure if that is a coat over a dress or a dress?

And why did they pick blue tights for Charlotte to wear? ugh. better to have picked white or another dress all together. But she looked better than the other young girls who wore weird white ankle socks with flats.

A 95-year old woman is no longer a spring chicken!

I always leave this thread shaking my head. Yeah, the big secrets seem to be that 95 year-old woman is no spring chicken, grandchildren with difficult relationships with their grandmother's might visit privately when they realize said 95 year-old woman is no spring chicken, and sometimes we might not like an outfit that someone else has chosen and worn. These are all normal things but you guys get super weird about them!
