Do you guys think that there might be a chance CB actually had Joseph over and he surprised them and killed them both out of rage? Or do you think it was premeditated?

It’s so hard to believe. Not bc I think he’s innocent, but because I can’t believe people can be so mean. And like…. They don’t look like bad people, they just look like a normal suburban family.

What about the mother's family? Why should Banfield's mother get her?

Because while he remains under the presumption of innocence, he has legal custody of his daughter and thus the right to determine with whom and where she will live while he is indisposed pending trial. He might get out on bail and continue to primary parent her, who knows. At some point if the mother’s family can make a showing that the paternal grandmother is unfit then maybe they get custody.

They can file for an immediate custody hearing. He’s in jail, indicted for double murder. So his custody can be taken. Either side can file. If his mother has the daughter right now she should be filing too. I’d like to find a family court judge that upholds the father’s “right to determine with whom and where she lives”. There is actual case law on this issue.

My Nextdoor is saying they arrested him at/around the Giant on 123 in Lorton. Someone saw a heavy police presence there and made a post and one of the replies was:

“I saw. They pulled up, DEEP, on some guy in a Tesla. Guns out and EVERYTHING 😬😬😬 I thought is was a fender bender as well until I saw it looked like the cops did that purposely because it didn’t like like there were any damages to the the truck in the back and front. Then of course no damage to the Tesla from what I could tell.”

And then the link to FCPD on Twitter and saying they caught him at the light leading into the shopping center.
