Yes true actually. Great response BTW.
Doesn't happen here because no one is that good and there are way too many teams to make it a wise decision for most clubs. But in other large states with lots of sun it happens every year |
| GK's are probably the most shared position. |

This is a quote from the Nationals a year ago. Funny how after the GA announced their desperation move with their "strategic alliance" that none of the other teams went running back to them, strange...
“It’s time for us to make the move and step up,” said Nationals SC Girls Academy Director of Coaching David Robertson, who will remain the Director of Coaching for the Nationals’ ECNL girls soccer teams. “We were accepted into ECNL and we felt the timing is right. We’re looking forward to the switch and the upcoming seasons.” |
Nice to see that you're looking through last years trash for something to fit your narrative. |
It's amazing that last year's GAL "cLuB oF tHe YEArrrrr!!!""" is this year's irrelevant story that "fits a narrative." Spin Spin Spin |
Obviously you haven't been around youth soccer that long. Yes, the landscape can and does 100% change year after year. |
Ive seen kids from Va play in Md on off season and vice versa. Not only GK's |
| People in aspire and dpl are starting to get their “travel plans” for next season. When will all the leagues announce their conferences? |

This anti-GA sentiment is a weird obsession. Fact is it's good both ECNL and GA are expanding. It means more pathways for kids to higher levels of competition and exposure where competition improves both leagues. Heck, even USYS has kept trying to evolve to keep up. It would be fun, tho, if the champs all could play each other. College coaches would probably appreciate that. |
memo sent out to the GA hats to start posting... |
