Because we want our kids to be around vaccinated adults. Got it. |
Man I wish the delta-alarmed people would come on this thread and talk to the the people questioning why teachers should be vaccinated. |
DC JCC just announced mandatory vaccine or weekly testing for every employee of the preschool. |
The best solution is mandatory or weekly testing. People will get sick of the testing and relent to get vaccinated but you don’t need to lose otherwise good employees.
There is a reason the federal government is taking this approach. |
It appears that this issue will soon be resolved:

Fantastic news. |
Thank god |

What kind of teacher would be non-complaint about either getting vaccinated OR tested weekly? Seems like a win/win for both sides. |
aaaaaah yiiiis |
It’s not just teachers, and I could see unvaccinated individuals skipping testing here and there. Not many but there does need to be some consequence if you want the policy to be followed. |
Some quality whataboutism here |
Too bad this happened too late for staff to be fully vaccinated, but it's a start. |
I truly hope the agreement is that any employees who refuse to test or vax are barred from entering the workplace. If not, what's the point. |
