Worldwide...
Amsterdam, London, Milan, Paris, Toronto...there's no "confusion" about what the term means.

It's only here in anonymous cyberspace where people love to argue for the sake of arguing cause they ain't got shit else to do that y’all bored antagonists are baffled and bothered by the name Black Lives Matter.

Funny how the entire world gets it, but whites in America don't get it. Could it be that the education that American whites receive is so substandard that they are all idiots? Or is it something else?

Who runs BLM? It is a non-profit or corp? Who are the execs running it and board of directors? Who's making money off it? Who owns the trademarks?

I see you stressed and struggling to find a way to bring #BlackLivesMatter down, huh?
Well you can forget the traditional approach of attacking it's leaders. It's a movement not a corporation.
If you looking for some leaders to attack you can always go after Leon W. Russell who's chairman of the NAACP.
But Black Lives Matter...nope. You outta luck.
Just like y'all outta luck as far as a name change.
Not happening.

Only intolerant people think this. We all already know our society values white lives. Our cops have historically treated blacks as if their lives didn't matter. BLM is merely pointing out that black lives do matter. If you know the intent is not to say only black lives matter, why isn't that enough for you? Why not explain that to those who don't understand that. Whites are always assigning negative meanings to black people's actions. Kapernick was protesting police brutality during a time he felt he could get people to focus on it. He was labeled a traitor to the country, he was accused of disrespecting our military and our flag. All for just peacefully kneeling after talking to a veteran about it. People who are offended with the name BLM will still be offended no matter what it's called. They think there's no racism and that blacks are "always playing the race card." Blacks can't win with those people, why cowtow to them?

+1 When people say "black lives matter," they are saying "black lives matter, TOO." We know that all lives matter. But "all lives' aren't placed in danger in the same way that black lives are. We say "black lives matter" because black lives are the ones in danger.

That is true, but only in theory. Because right now, NOT all lives matter. You can't say "All Lives Matter!" when one part of the ALL is being discriminated against over and over.

We know this is true because time and time again, BLACK people are singled out and killed for simply existing.

Therefore, until BLACK lives matter, all lives DO NOT matter.

All means all.

Lots of these killings are problematic, but please don't scare people into thinking that they are targeted for simply existing.

WTF?? Black people *are* targeted for simply existing. That's the entire point of the protests!

HUH? Almost all police shootings are justified. What happened to George Floyd is a rare occurrence. I 100% support the protesters and I hope he rots in jail after a fair trial. But that video has nothing to do with actual facts.

Black people disproportionately murder white people and the numbers are not even close. The facts just don't support your pet project agenda. Sorry.

That's what you're worried about? If they effect changes in police policies that results in stopping police brutality against blacks, I don't care how much money they make. They would have earned every penny for making this country better for everyone.

Men disproportionately murder people of all races and sexes--does that mean all men should be treated as criminals? This fact doesn't support your pet project agenda. Sorry.

I’m sorry too.
The movement is called Black Lives Matter.
If you don't like it or don't understand it, fine.
The people who support this movement like it and understand it.
It's not about to get changed.
So...yeah.

Black people are 21x more likely to die if interaction with police than White people are. [source: The Appeal podcast]
