I can't breathe . . . Minneapolis police kill a man in broad daylight

I worked for Tim Walz on the Hill. He's a 'nice guy' but doesn't have the backbone to effect the change required.

He’s a white Democrat? And the Mayor? Another white Democrat? And the Police Chief? Anyone seeing a pattern here?

Police chief is not white.

The head of the police union is a racist Trump supporter.

So far there is no evidence and no video of him resisting arrest. The officers statements are all lies.

Nope, but your statement is.

If anyone wants to see where the man physically resisted the officers see the link above - after "Nope, but your statement is."

This is where the encounter turned physical and this is why the officers restrained Floyd.

Are you an idiot?

He wasn’t choked out in this incident. They put him in cuffs, sit him on the sidewalk for a while, and place him in squad car across the street.

Why did the white officer pull him out of the car and murder him in front of the crowd?

Here’s the proof....he’s placed in a squad car at the end.

https://www.tmz.com/2020/05/27/surveillance-footage-before-george-floyd-killed-minneapolis-not-resisting/

Also, if you watch the TMZ video it appears he is in a lot of pain and perhaps having a medical issue. Lots of grimacing and then he falls off the curb when they try to get him in the squad car. He seems to have some sort of physical ailment.

The cops were so very wrong here.

I can not get that TMZ video to play for some reason. All of the many chopped videos showing different parts of the incident are confusing. If someone has seen where they've all been put together in some sort of cohesive way where I can actually follow along with what happened when that would be helpful.

Obvously, if they pulled a handcuffed man out of the back of a police cruiser, slammed him on the ground and proceeded to choke the life out of him that would be murder.

Same video is here: https://nypost.com/2020/05/27/video-does-not-appear-to-show-george-floyd-resisting-arrest/

That video shows Floyd, the driver of the vehicle being physically non-cooperative while his passengers were being compliant. It took two officers to get handcuffs on Floyd. They walked him onto the sidewalk and sat him against the wall with his hands still handcuffed against his back . They then stand him up and Floyd sort of stagger walks with them across the street to a waiting police vehicle where he stumbles into the street and falls to the ground. I can not tell if he was being cooperative or why they felt the need to pin him down, assuming they had a reason at all. That vantage point is not good for showing what happened directly leading up to the knee pinning incident.

What do you mean the Police Chief isn’t white? What color is he?

Black, I assume.

According to Wikipedia:
“Arradondo is Mexican-American and also the first black person to serve as chief of the Minneapolis Police Department“

This killing comes right on the heels of those men in Georgia chasing down and killing the black jogger while the one guy was filming.

Stuff is getting bad. And weird. Things falling apart?

And the center does not hold
Yes

Now a pawn shop owner shot and killed a looter and a group of self described rednecks with firearms have set up to protect a tobacco shop.

This sounds like a scene out of Gotham city.

This current spate of violence is a reaction to the lawless cops.

The riots will take down the city. People who can leave will get out of that place. It’s literally on fire. Wow. What a massive failure. When will they wake up and change their ways?

+1

And the unnecessary tear gas.

They should all be charged with murder. Period.

What about their police chief?

Can someone explain to me why the officer who murdered Mr. Floyd has yet to be detained?

I think many of us around the world thought the officer would be in jail by now. The rioting could’ve been avoided if swift action had been taken by the mayor and police chief. Now I feel like Minneapolis will be the “ground zero” of what’s to come in the United States. I can tell Americans of all races are just plain tired of how your country is evolving.

Because the US isnt a banana republic. We dont prosecute people until a thorough investigation is conducted. An arrest shouldn't be based on public opinion because most are idiots.

He was murdered. There are multiple witnesses and multiple videos to back a murder charge. The officer committed a crime, and should have been arrested/held/booked on a murder charge. And, in a banana republic the cop would go free...just like what is happening now.
