How to fight this new anti-childcare winter weather approach?

A real apology would have included an acknowledgement of many families that lost income today because of their intentional choice to prevent child care providers from opening even though high school students were traveling to school by the time they would have opened with a delay.

The email doesn't say they intended to allow child care providers to operate- it just says it was an error to close them.

The CO and BoE have been attempting to justify the decision all day, so they can't claim it was a misunderstanding.

It says that the announcement was made in error. No accountability for their poor decision making. It's like it was a typo or something.

I think the jury's still out on Laura Stewart so I wouldn't lump her in with the rest... but other than that, yup, I'm with you. If you don't have the strength and courage to hold MCPS accountable, you don't deserve any other political job either.

I don't think Stewart will be up for reelection next yes. I think Rivera-Oven will be the only incumbent on the ballot got BOE unless Brenda Wolff decides to run again. I'll either not vote on these races or vote for their opponents.
