I don’t think Amy dancing with Yellow is strange or indicates that she wanted to hook up with him. Gay men dance provocatively with straight women at clubs all of the time. Like, all of the time. Gay women dance provocatively with straight men all of the time. It’s safe. It’s fun. There are no strings attached.

It didn't look safe and fun tbh.

Perception is subjective.

He was all over her and physically much larger. You really think he would have respected some kind of "code" to not push himself on a woman because she said she's gay?

Clearly you’re not a gay clubgoer. It’s ok that you don’t understand, but I think that’s part of the issue here.

Your universalizing "gay clubgoer" experience is weird tbh.

I've only ever been ignored when I went to dance at gay clubs! The men were there to pick up other men, not dance with women. And I know exactly zero straight men who ever wanted to dance at lesbian-dominant clubs.

I’m not doubting your experience, but my experience is true and valid.

NP. I think the point is that experiences vary. I personally get a sexual vibe from Yellow toward Amy not a safe vibe. That doesn't mean anything happened, but it seems obvious from the video (which I hadn't seen before).

You see, I watch the video and she seems just as into it. It’s so subjective.

To me she just seems drunk.

He does, too.

Do we know for certain that the video of them
Dancing is from the night she went missing? Or is it from a previous night on the cruise? I think she looks extremely out of it, but if it’s not even from that night, does it really matter?

It's from that night. I do think it's strange that the cruise line wanted all copies. They wanted no evidence left, even before they knew what was on the tape.

I feel like this was somehow embellished or misconstrued.

The cruise line was probably like, “Hey, can we have those tapes?” and the guy was defensively like, “I don’t give my footage to anyone.” Like, they just wanted the footage, original, copy, or whatever. It feels embellished for the purpose of the documentary. Like, if you took a beautiful Polaroid of something and evidence to a crime was in the background, would you be like, “I don’t give away original art.” That’s ludicrous.

She looked really out of it in the video. Dancing way too slow for the beat - everyone else is fast dancing and she’s in her own zone. Doesn’t look drunk to me - more like E.

So what’s your theory? No snark, I’m genuinely curious.

Let’s say she’s drunk and drugged, makes it back to her hotel at 3am or whatever time it was. Smokes with brother, falls asleep on balcony. Dad sees her at 5:30, but by 6 she’s gone.

What happened?

I really don’t know what happened to her, but she looked more than drunk to me. Done enough stupid shit in my younger years to recognize certain movements and behaviors.
I guess it doesn’t lead me to think anything different about what happened, just bolsters my sense that her dad and brother are lying/ minimizing/ downplaying something in those early morning hours.

I agree, and I think it makes Yellow look like even more of a red herring.

Seeing how drunk(high?) she was makes me think accidental fall. But I'm having trouble ruling out the sightings, especially the one on the beach where he saw her tattoos and watch clearly. I could dismiss the brothel (maybe sex worker trying to scam him) and Barbados bathroom sightings as mistaken though.
