Just looked up the video of Amy dancing. Yellow was all over her and she seemed inebriated (but not resisting). I understand why he became a person of interest, but of course there's nothing sufficiently conclusive either.

Men were tripping over themselves for her? ![]() For her? ![]() For her? ![]() Maybe this version? ![]() I mean, really? She’s neither ugly nor gorgeous, but let’s not pretend men were salivating in the way her mother claims. |
I also think it's weird he asked another young female passenger to meet him at 6am. He seemed to want to have sex with passengers for sport. I suspect that's what the suitcase of photos was about. https://www.reddit.com/r/NetflixDocumentaries/comments/1m5l2ib/yellow_was_reported_to_the_fbi_by_another_woman/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button Did that have anything to do with her disappearance? Probably not. But it is weird, like so many things about this case. The dynamic between between them while dancing was uncomfortable. I'd like to know more about how drunk she was that night. |
I don’t think she was trafficked (I think she either fell or was SA/murdered on the ship) but she was young and fit - that’s going to put her at least in the “above average” category considering the typical demographic you find on cruise ships. |
I just think this is worth mentioning:
I don’t think Amy dancing with Yellow is strange or indicates that she wanted to hook up with him. Gay men dance provocatively with straight women at clubs all of the time. Like, all of the time. Gay women dance provocatively with straight men all of the time. It’s safe. It’s fun. There are no strings attached. |
There were several reasons for him to be targeted as a person of interest. Including his first interview by the head of security: “2000hrs Carried out an interview with Musician Alister Douglas emp#180174. During the initial interview Douglas made many false statements about the when and where he had been. Once confronted with and explained the Locklink process he finally apologised and made a statement that was more in line with the facts. (See report.)” I still don't think he trafficked her, but he gives lying creep vibes. |
Also worth mentioning is how common casual drug use is among this community, particularly at clubs, especially back in the 90s. I think if you don’t know, you don’t know. |
It didn't look safe and fun tbh. |
I agree with this. Curacao has long been a hub for trafficking. I think either Yellow or another crew member owed money to traffickers at the port or were aware that they could make some $$ if they lured someone. I think she was thrown in a shed until the ship left the port and then moved to another island. In the Caribbean, there are and were trafficking networks that would move victims back and forth. |
Perception is subjective. |
He was all over her and physically much larger. You really think he would have respected some kind of "code" to not push himself on a woman because she said she's gay? |
He wasn't supposed to sleep with passengers but apparently did on the regular. Not at all surprised he lied. |
Clearly you’re not a gay clubgoer. It’s ok that you don’t understand, but I think that’s part of the issue here. |
All of you talking about her appearance and fixating on things like hair are acting like they only want hot escorts that are going to be dressed up in designer duds servicing businessmen for 10k a night at the St. Regis. If trafficking was involved, the prostitution was like 10 dollar blow jobs hooking, really really seedy. It's basically irrelevant what the women look like in this category, they don't have a discriminating customer base. With that in mind, she would have been more than adequate. |
Based on the dancing video, she was thin and sexy. Not much else needed. Still don't think she was trafficked though. |
