“Amy Bradley is Missing” Netflix

I personally thought it was odd how the family thought she was so attractive. Like how they kept saying how much attention she got from staff. She was average at best. I hate to be that person, but they are delusional.

She was pretty and very fit. And she stood out considering the demographic that takes cruises.

She did little to enhance her appeal to men , perhaps because she was gay.

Jeepers, I did not expect that to be the first response to this thread! A bit harsh.

I was listening to the brother being interviewed on the radio earlier today, which led me to read about the story online. I had not really previously been aware of it.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to stomach watching the Netflix show but it sounds gut wrenching no matter what. The family is still holding out hope for closure of some kind.

DP: Why would it be wrenching to watch? Its not real footage. Its a spin on what the family think happened.

Most likely she fell off, thinking she was going into the bathroom or something. Remember that she had been drinking all night until about 4am. Its odd that her brother left her alone in the bar and came back to the room without her. Then they hung out on the balcony until 5ish am and AGAIN he left her out there? I cannot imagine leaving my drunk sibling on a cruise ship balcony alone.

That is a misrepresentation of what happened. She had had six beers across like 11 hours. And she was the older of the siblings.

You will feel differently when you have seen the rest.

1) You don't have to be attractive and 2) you can be drugged.

When/where was she drugged in a 30-45 minute period of time between her dad seeing her on the balcony and waking up and not seeing her there...?

Please don’t chime in until you watch the whole show.

She was seen going into the closed nightclub with the older/stronger band member who had pursued her. She very likely was drugged there.

6 beers for a woman is a lot. It doesn't matter how old she is or if she's older. You don't leave a drunk person on a balcony alone on a cruise ship.

“Over 11 hours” is a key part of the picture.

What's the source for that?

Just watched it. I think she fell too. She sounds like she drank a lot as a rule and she was out late drinking, in a relatively strange location and got disoriented. It’s sort of an intriguing story but like a lot of these things, not much to the mystery.

I thought the brother and Dad said she was on their balcony? They were all sharing a hotel room.

Right. She probably fell off the balcony. I just meant that it sounded like she and her brother had had a lot to drink before that and then she went back to the room. She may have been in a blackout.

The photos of the person seen later did look like her but I just found it hard to believe that she had been abducted and was still living.

The father cites documentation from the bar records. (6 lite beers From dinner to when she returned to her room, I did an approximate calculation of the hours. ) You metabolize a drank an hour, approximately.

Now perhaps , the sketchy band guy was slipping her drinks that were not on the bar tab?

But I think that photo, posted years later, is her. As does her family, and criminal analysts!

There is apparently a very dark side to the islands, that most tourists are oblivious to.

Through advanced technology, the FBI confirmed that the picture of Jas is indeed Amy. The FBI does not believe she fell off that ship.

NP here. She was from Richmond, so it’s not surprising to me that someone here would have known her.

Are you speculating she was kidnapped and somehow taken off the boat and living in an island?

There’s no way that happened.

If you’ve cruised, you know they tightly control who gets on and off—including crew. They scan your card and match a photo to each person before they exit. No way anyone could just walk off.

Snd fell off, jumped off, or was pushed off. Those are the only 3 options.

Have you actually watched all 3 episodes of the documentary?

Have you actually walked on or off a cruise ship? There’s one exit and they scan your card and match the picture on file with the person. Nobody gets on or off without the cruise line knowing. It’s just not possible.
