What happened to W&M, Brandeis, Tulane, Pepperdine and others..from historically T50 to outside looking in?

If UVA was that much better they would have 100% submitting test scores and a 1570 median like the ivies but they don't and in fact have the exact same test stats as W&M.

I just did a deep dive on UC Merced and it looks pretty amazing. not sure that any other state has created an R2 university anew recently? if you have a kid who wanted to relocate to California and was really into the outdoors and environmental science, it looks really cool. so close to Yosemite!

Any if these 4 schools are perfectly fine. They have been good schools for a long time regardless of what an annual ranking might say. Nothing wrong with any of them. They all have their niche audience and do a very good job with that niche. Going to any of these 4 schools will not set your kid back years despite what DCUMs have to say.
