Real evidence, not biased sources. For example, if he claims Project 2025 isn’t that bad, pull up the actual document. No need for secondary sources here. It is all spelled out. If he says the Trump indictments are dems weaponizing the justice system, pull up the actual 34 documents. Again, straight to the primary sources. It won’t happen overnight, but teaching him to use reliable sources to become informed is the most helpful thing you can do for him. Give him time. Keep having conversations. Good luck, OP.

Many people voted explictly against the democrat party agenda. You had better start facing up to that. I'm talking about the hate-America-first, endless uncontrolled immigration, woke, soft-on-crime, no common-sense agenda. Nothing overcomes that.

Did you hear it? Have you taken note?

Not the message I am getting. democrats are for reproductive healthcare for women, healthcare costs, addressing climate change, common sense gun control. Poll after poll has shown that the majority of Americans are aligned with these issues.

Sadly most voted against their own self interests.

NP. Democrats are also for the entire transgender agenda that no one sane wants. They lied about the border crisis until they couldn't get away with their lies any longer and rolled back the Trump initiatives keeping the crisis in check. They lied about the problem of inflation and then expected credit for stemming the problem they claimed didn't didn't exist. They overreacted to the pandemic and spearheaded school closures that set back a generation of the most vulnerable students. They propped up a cognitively impaired president and colluded with the media to lie about his faculties. I could go on.

Democrats seem to be really mad that voters saw both the good and the bad that Democrats stand for and decided the overall package was inferior. Too bad you're judged not just by what you want voters to see, but by everything you're doing.

So sad for these white men. They are so used to have an advantage for centuries that they don’t know how to deal when other peoples are giving similar opportunities.

White men built this country and maintain it. They built this society. They deserve all the privileges after they rose from slavery. We were slaves first. The Barbary slave trade was real and many whites were enslaved and cruelly killed.

How do you know what other people’s self interests are?

The majority of the country is aligned with those issues. Per many polls that have been conducted.

When are you going to learn that polls aren’t reliable? Most polls had Kamala winning but Trump won and won the popular vote. Polls aren’t reliable.

This is a good post. I don't think democrats understand this and care about us. They lost my vote forvery at defund the police.

So you voted for the guy who didn’t care that his supporters were beating up police. Got it.

This is rich coming from lowly liberals who wants all cops gone and don’t bat an eye when many are killed by criminals you voted to set free. I don’t remember any liberals caring about the many cops assaulted and killed during the BLM riots.

Recognizing one wrong doesn't make it "okay" to drift towards another wrong. There are no homes in modern day major political parties for young people who want to make the world a better place. Surely, you are smart enough to realize this.

Young people nowadays barely remember Obama.
They don't remember the 2008 financial crash and how Obama pulled us away from the brink of a global depression.
They don't have any Republicans top compare Trump to. As far as they are concerned the choices are wokeness and MAGA. And they are increasingly choosing MAGA over Wokeness.
Let that sink in. Your woke crap is worse than MAGA to someone new on the scene.

Well said

Obama was a terrible president. He did nothing for the country besides building cages for kids and put a tax fine on those who couldn’t afford Obamacare.

The fact that he rejected you probably should indicate that he is distraught and embarrassed that that his upper middle class white family are Democrats. That he's too ashamed to tell people he knows in real life. Heartsick that he was raised by sanctimonious close- minded ideologues who are happy about Biden being elected and would feel this way about their child. Reading this post, I would say he would be right. You seem like a miserable parent to grow up with.

+1. OP will be whining in a decade how her son won’t spend time with her and doesn’t let her see his kids. She will feign ignorance instead of accepting the real reason is that she is a close minded uptight wad.

No, most polls had it at a tie. Trump won, but not by much.

Again, missing the point that most voters are aligned with these issues. Whether they voted in 2024 is another story.
