Agree that it was a major red flag/turnoff that Cap'n Kim wrote a song and was bum-hurt that no one wanted to sing it. I was so relieved they cut away for the most part so I didn't have to cringe through it. "WE ARE GOING TO DO THIS AND IT IS GOING TO BE FUN" is the drill with him- even down to the way he forced a kiss on her mouth and insisted he wanted to be her friend when he was leaving.

Agree that Pascal is exhausting with being so unable to manage daily tasks like laundry and cooking. Major turnoff that he sucks at the basics but is also somehow proud of this. Have his past girlfriends found his multiple ineptitudes sexy? That's amazing.

Bringing out Wayne Newton's remains from a sarcophagus and forcing it to warble through some notes with what I can only assume was some kind of combination of ABC cattleprods/bedevilment and pharmacotherapeutic macro dosing of HGH was a low point. Was Dick Clark's body not available? Wayne Newton is too old for even the golden bachelorette's generation so it was an absolute WTF moment as transmitted even by Joan's tight, alarmed face.

Joan's wardrobe is great and she looks cute in everything.

I’m not even against hair extensions, I think extensions at natural hair length to add subtle volume can work, but long, heavy extensions look terrible to me. It’s all over reality tv and I find it so unflattering and odd looking.

It just feel so heavy and un-functional to me. I keep wanting to pull it back for her an put it up in a clip or something. It's WAY too long for her. It just gives me the vibe that the franchise is ALWAYS SO STUCK in the cliché Barbie-Doll look ---- even for 61 year olds! Susan and her short cut is SO much more flattering and realistic for her age. Seems like it would be a constant annoyance to have Joan's long extensions when you are trying to sleep or exercise or take a shower... just too much to mess with. CUT IT OFF! Stop trying to be 25! You're 61... Be a great, age-appropriate 61. (yes, I preferred Nancy -- the one from Alexandria, who had a normal, natural face, and shoulder length hair --- so much more real.)
