It’s quite a holistic story in its own.

This lines up with the end of the first game. There are only two but I assume the show will go past two seasons. Prequels? Tess and Joel love story? Joel and Tommy backstory? Ellie as an adult and Joel as a grandpa? It can be a comedy.

I was fine with the finale but need to lol at how calm the whole birth scene was.

I thought the finale was great. I was wondering how they could top last week's episode.... They did.

I can't help but compare this to the Walking Dead as I watch. TWD would have draaaaaggggeeeddd out every episode into a whole season. This show moves fast and gives quick satisfaction, every episode. How it should be done.

Ashley Johnson as Ellie's mom was perfect. It's symbolic and beautiful. I loved this season.

I understand they're planning on 3 seasons.

I am sure that season 2 will include Ellie finding out that Joel liked about the Fireflies.

Ha! I actually haven’t watched the finale yet - DH and I do that Monday - but hearing that she’s in it does make for a great start to the week. I’m so excited to see it!

I know some of what happens in Part 2, which will likely be the second season. No spoilers.

TWD is filmed in some back country near atlanata, while HBO has some f u money to stage every scene.
