Because the Romans nailed him to it, just as they did with countless other people. |

| Welcome to the Episcopal Church, home of many former Catholics. |
The Romans didn't just nail anybody at anytime. They nailed Jesus to it because they didn't like his message and the many followers he attracted. |
Yes, crucifixion was a common form of punishment. https://historyofyesterday.com/a-concise-and-shocking-history-of-crucifixion-e21b7f624222 |
Don’t disagree. The point, though, is that they crucified him for saying and doing things they didn’t like. |

Please people. Mc Carrick openly engaged in homosexual behavior for what, 70 years? Do we need to list out the sexual predators of the hierarchy of the Catholic Church over the past 100 years? The reply field isn't big enough to paste the lists put out by State Attorney Generals.
Yet this sexual abuse power structure of the Catholic Church hierarchy tries to focus the spotlight on kind decent every day gay people and try to cast them as sinners. As a lapsed catholic it boggles my mind how desperately Catholics shove their heads in the ground on who is "leading" them here on earth. |
As a lapsed Catholic you might not know what the pulse on the ground is now, but visibly homosexual priests are a thing of the past and almost all of the lay faithful are eagerly awaiting the end of the long reign of the “Lavender Mafia”. McCarrick is what, 80 years old? |
That’s why the Romans crucified any of the many people whom they crucified. |
| Sin is sin. Choose the right path. I will pray for the son of OP. |
Uh, OK, so after four pages we’ve found the answer. Glad we got that cleared up. Who says DCUM doesn’t work? |
| I mean “24.” |
Just tell you gay DCs to make the right choices and problem solved - no sin. Brilliant. |
After 24 pages we’ve found the answer: Celibacy! The Truth was right in front of us all the time! Glad we have people like you here to show us the way. Posterior, uh, I mean Posterity, will envy me for having known you! |
