It won’t work because trust fund Arabs can’t party and yacht in China like they can in the west. They will never support China as a business partner. Communism was the mortal enemy of Arabs. The idea of losing thwir wealth and state religion to the idea of equity is NOT what they believe. They believe in capitalism and therefore will always align with America ans Europe. Ask someone who knows. For a long time they used to send their kids in America to Christian schools before Islamic schools were a thing |
| Even the most anti American, Osama bin Laden, used to hate communism and he originally was supported by the us to fight communism/bring down the Soviet’s in Afghanistan with the Taliban and He actually did that. I think the problem occurred because he expected to be appointed president or something by the cia ala Syrian prez but he was paid dust post Cold War. The gulf war happened instead and he was mad amurica turned the weapons toward the Arabs |
This is exactly why 45 years of American presidents never invaded Iran. Why would anyone invade a country in the Middle East and Central Asia that’s not practically landlocked ala Iraq Afghanistan? The ports alone affect the global economy which is exactly the case here. This is also why the Us could never really win in Somalia and yemen despite both being third world countries. Technically Gaza is supposed to be a big port as well but Israel blocks it. |
Or it may be “support the troops” and yellow ribbons again after Israel attacks us in a false flag painted to be Iran. Iran gets the cash and more important global legitimacy now. They have zero reason to be mad at the Us or Trump. |
Pre-2017 we had mostly fit and normal presidents. Trump is not those things. |
| I think what we are losing sight of is that while this might feel like “just another” middle eastern fight it’s actually between two *very* different countries. On the one hand, you have Israel, and a lot of the people there are Jewish and speak Hebrew. On the other hand, you have Iran, and a lot of people there are Muslim and speak Farsi. (I know what you’re thinking—yes, Farsi! Although Arabic is really popular in the Middle East, Iran actually didn’t adopt it—they stuck with Farsi!) how will this end??? Your guess is as good as mine! |
lol sure. China is already there and doing deals. The oil will flow and Iran will be paid based on the oil flowing. It is much easier to just pay people/countries off, give those people/countries a monetary reason to open the strait and have the money piles up in your banks. The gulf states production cost for a barrel of oil is $6-$10. Paying a $3 per barrel tax/fee to Iran means you make $62-$66 a barrel on 20 million barrels a day with the current price of $75 a barrel. The alternative is to make nothing. What would you do? Oh don’t think to long because if you are the one stopping $1.24 billion day you will not be there long. |
Throughout history Iran/Persia has always been a regional power. It’s is a large country with a large population and natural resources. Iran has been suppressed as a regional power for 47 years. Iran is naturally taking its place back. Israel is a small country in an area that has never been a regional power base with no natural resources. Israel power is based on US support. How this ends is Israel will be greatly reduced as a power in the region. That is the nature state of the region. |
Well a quick game of numbers would indicate Iran would beat Israel. Israel has what? 9 million people, 20% of those are Arabs or immigrants (non Jews). Another 10% are orthodox or ex pats who don’t fight. A large number are also elderly or above 50 and can’t fight. Women and children also cannot fight. What does that leave them with? You see why they want the US to fight their war? They also have two to three territories they have to occupy (the West Bank, Gaza, and now Lebanon). For some reason, Netanyahu is confident that all of these fronts are sustainable despite Israel’s declining population which supersedes or matches the hundreds of thousands killed or missing in Gaza. Iran has 90 million people. Even with a refugee crisis to Europe, they still have a significant advantage militarily over Israel. Tehran has 8 million to 10 million people-the same population of the entire country of Israel. Take out population and just discuss Land mass and area. Israelis cannot fight Iran. They can fight Lebanon which is why they’re there. They don’t start fights they cannot win. They expect us to do it. Even Israel’s assumption that they at least had air superiority over Iran fell in flames (literally) as Irans cheap ballistic missiles were able to destroy Israeli infrastructure, hurt their economy, take lives, and also leave the country in underground bunkers. The iron dome and all the other seven air defense/missile defense systems they have failed |

But rather than face reality, they believe in their own national mythology (which is rather impressive) that Israel will always win every war and Israel will always have favor by God and the USA and in that order.
Things don’t always work out that way and their own history shows the past 2 Israeli kingdoms started to decline significantly due to war around the eighty year mark. Israel is 78 years old right now. Just celebrated 78 years last month in may |
That's true, no point in stopping now when they want to clean out Gaza and Lebanon of what they view as lesser human beings. |
| Anyone who is a student of history knows Israel and America are following the same pattern as the fall of Judea and Roman Empire (respectfully). The Roman Empire took over the entire Middle East (turkey, Israel, Egypt, North Africa, the entire Levant) but failed to take Persia/iran. |
That’s not true. They are still fighting in Gaza and they are back in Lebanon where they got their butts kick for 12 years. The drone warfare are hurt the IDF. Teh drone tech will only improve with active use. |
