Agreed. She has gained weight. She finally at least bought pants a size up, but the top is not super flattering to her now larger arms.

What are those flaps? First pick I thought it was pockets added to the surface (is there a name for that?)--to keep order pads? stethoscope? tips?

But it's not.

I see pics sometimes where she looks slender and bust appears smaller (can she inflate/deflate it?) and there are hip bones, and then things like this which add thickness.

Yep, she'd been really taxing the inseams of all her old pants, these still have a slight pucker, but she has given in and sized up.

Yes, but they're double top stitched and architectural, meaning they should not be worn as a second skin and they can't be altered.
