Pregnant women should not have different rights to personal, medical privacy than every other citizen. Abortion is not in the constitution/amendments, but privacy is.
Dark days indeed. Once you start rolling back rights, even if you think there’s justification, bad things follow. Never thought I’d need to fight for rights I’ve had since the day I was born, but it’s a good lesson that freedom is a constant battle. I’m not going backwards just because Mitch McConnell played dirty. |

It's pretty clear that the U.S. needs to include an explicit right to privacy as an amendment to the Constitution. I think this is one that will actually get implemented.
People want privacy from the government and corporations, regardless if you're a Democrat or Republican. |
| Too bad the Republican women won't be voting with us. Any vote for Republican is a vote against our privacy rights, which is sad because there are times where I have voted Republican in my lifetime. I don't know if we can flip enough Republican women to come along to save our own rights as women |
You don't think they're going to have an astric by that that says except for women |
“Privacy” is just a subset of liberty and we can do away with the term and speak plainly. It’s liberty to access a medical procedure that is at stake. Roe was written in a time when women and men didn’t NOT talk about periods, miscarriages, pregnancy or anything else that had to do with women’s bodies. Hence the word “privacy”. |
Good point. |
This is very well said. Thank you for reframing the issue in a meaningful way. |
Not even yiu have people describing a growing baby as a clump of cells, an unwelcome guest, and worse. |

"A summer of rage" is what pro-abortion supporters call it. I guess we can look forward to another summer like the summer of 2020.
And, DHS is in charge of security - that is scary itself given how ineffective this department has been with border control. Roe v. Wade ruling has Biden administration bracing for nationwide wave of violence May 13 memo from the Department of Homeland Security details ongoing investigations into threats

Maybe we can get the Proud Boys to help out. They seem to know how to storm government buildings. |

Women aren't running around in cosplay military costumes. I think the SCOTUS is safe.
Women are powerful though. I think we will be looking at something like Poland's strike if RvCasey is struck down.

Yes, millions of babies, many from Black and Hispanic families, being aborted. |
Beats millions of unwanted babies being brought into the world. But the truly sick thing is the idea that women have no rights at all to decide whether to give birth, at any point. I’m sorry that you grieve all of those potential humans. I don’t. I do grieve the women whose lives have been lost, whose futures were shattered, or who struggle daily because they couldn’t get access to abortion easily when they needed it. |
