I didn't see anything about it on the FVU Travel Academy Waiver. Is that disclosed somewhere?

My understanding is that if you signed a contract, you’re responsible for fulfilling that contract. I assume you’re taking about the 2023-24 soccer year. If you’re talking about 2024-25, they might be lenient but you’d have to ask which let’s them know you’re considering leaving…

I'd prioritize coaching and playing time over everything else at U13/14. So go RL if you have to to get it.

If you are interested in college soccer at all, then getting to ECNL or GA by U15 is important, but if you are player 17+ at an ECNL club at U15-U17, then I'd advise your DD to be a starter and impact player on GA instead.

At U18/U19 you should do whatever is the most fun and try not to think too much about how you made all the wrong decisions in the 5 years leading up to this one.

on the girl’s side u19 is late for recruiting. Not too late. But late. Agree with PP’s first sentence. But don’t agree with the second. Every level is college scouted for ECNL showcases. Most even mid teams have over 100 colleges at the games. Coaches are not looking only at top teams. So lots of looks but if not getting playing time RL could be better.

This is all crap. Sure a few players leaving — those who complained all year about not enough playing time and maybe one or two who chose to leave. Normal changes as seen every year.

Good Braves added to strong VU starting players, plus a few external to the clubs. Yes, the loss of some strong sub players (sorry and sad to see these good players not make the cut). Decisions seem based on skills and not allegiances. Teams all looking pretty good and rosters not overly large (normal VU size). Coaches working hard to make a transition that should have been worked out months earlier.

Stop trying to use this forum to create rumor, stir the pot, and influence player decisions. Those still deciding — sign on or go elsewhere and enjoy. See you on the pitch.

Coaches post does give insight.

1) those who complained all year about not enough playing time - complain and you will be on the cut list

2) Decisions seem based on skills and not allegiances - decisions were based on allegiances and they want you to think otherwise

3) Teams all looking pretty good and rosters not overly large (normal VU size) - rosters are huge, see #1

4) Coaches working hard to make a transition that should have been worked out months earlier. - Brave and MYS coaches don’t get along

5) Those still deciding — sign on or go elsewhere and enjoy. See you on the pitch. - we still want the top players who moved on but if not, we’re good as we have secured our jobs as coaches

Untrue.. multiple brackets at show cases. And I use go scout when I was an Assistant coach for a D3 School
