Ah that's just Enrique Tarrio being upset because the lighting is poor and doesn't let him apply his eyeliner correctly. He has spend a lot of time working on his poses for the media and the dc jail isn't cutting it for him. |
Most are being held for misdemeanors. In solitary. |
Fake news. |
No, they are being held for breaking the law. Unless you think it is ok to stage an insurrection in a failed coup. |

IG seems to think the DC National Guard was told it could deploy--contrary to Commander's testimony. ... Why didn't the "powers that be" want protection on Capitol Hill? Capitol Police, DC Mayor, Pelosi, et. al. |
LOL the command was given from the Pentagon at 4:35pm to deploy to the Capitol. Too little, too late. |
Nope. They’re being held awaiting trial like anybody else. “It’s a common refrain from some of those charged in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol and their Republican allies: The Justice Department is treating them harshly because of their political views while those arrested during last year’s protests over racial injustice were given leniency. Court records tell a different story.” https://apnews.com/article/records-rebut-claims-jan-6-rioters-55adf4d46aff57b91af2fdd3345dace8 |
Actually some are being held in solitary. And the reason? It's for their own protection because in these cases, it is feared that these prisoners would be at high risk in the general community for their actions. If they were in the general population, it is suspected that many of them would not survive to their trials. |
And Walker said it was at 4:38. OMG. That IG report was such bunk. Classic military CYA. |
