Torture and sexual violence by Russian forces: At least 36 victims from the pool analyzed mentioned the use of electrocution during interrogations, often genital electrocution by Russian guards. Lol whatever works, Abu Ghraib.

Every defense of Russia boils down to ‘whaddabout’. It’s so compelling.

It is exposing you as a hypocrite.

NP. Not really.

It’s exposing you as a propagandist, and a second-rate one at that.

You should travel more. Every time a non-American, non-European person hears American or European pontification about the evils of invading other countries or human rights, they roll their eyes. Very, very deeply. Almost disappearing into the skull.

These conversations are being had and Africa is blaming sanctions, not Russia. That's because Africa is looking back at the century of strife, war and civilian victims on the continent that have been utterly ignored by the West. But now the West wants them to care about civilian victims somewhere else? What on earth for? To Africa, this is not their war and they resent any attempts to make them care.

The only reason sanctions happened are because of Putin. If Putin hadn't invaded, none of this would be happening. And, there was absolutely no good or legitimate reason for him to invade. It's all just Russian lies, and nothing else, all the way down.

To be fair, you may not know the poster you're referencing. She was celebrating war crimes a couple days ago. There's more than one way to skin a cat or something like that...

I find the Russian electronic warfare to be the only thing keeping them in the fight….and billions of land mines they randomly threw around.

If I were Ukraine I would send UAVs anywhere they could anything in Russia. And say it was jammed by Russians EW.

I would not be worried about collateral damage at this point. They have a total get out jail free card that Russia jammed their weapon and it hit a restaurant or office building or whatever.

That would be funny.

Not trolling. What's wrong with that statement? Isn't NATO afraid to send their soldiers to war to fight and die for the Ukrainians?
They aren't willing to give their life for Ukrainians. If Russia is such a weak opponent, why isn't NATO sending its troops marching into Ukraine, bringing this war to an end? You know the answer.

No. Sanctions are happening because the West made the choice to sanction. There were tons of invasions before this one, and there will be others after it, all without sanctions. Don't pretend sanctions automatically follow invasions, that's a lie.

There are often lies before invasions. Yesterday it was Colin Powell shaking his glass thing at the UN, or was it W Bush pretending Saddam was linked to 9/11? Today it's Putin. What else is new under the moon?

If Russia or China enter into an alliance with Mexico, and they start planning to open Russian or Chinese military bases at the US-Mexico border, the US will do everything in its power to stop it, including starting a war with Mexico. It's a matter of national security.

"43% explicitly mentioned practices of torture in the detention centres, citing sexual violence as a common tactic imposed on them by Russian guards"
https://www.yahoo.com/news/torture-sexual-violence-commonly-used-230519548.html

"Reuters was unable to verify the allegations."

Totally understandable, given the volume.

"The authorities in Ukraine are examining more than 97,000 reports of war crimes - submitting charges against 220 suspects in domestic courts."

Everything can come out once Russia collapses.
