| Back to the original thread title-is FCV going to become an ECNL club this year?? |
STJ changed their name but the bridge is still burned. |
No. |
Each club in the conference will vote |
FCV will never ever ever get ECNL. |
Lol. Well...that should answer your question then. |
Because they’re scared af they’re pool will migrate to the better place. It’s common sense. They lack courage, and coaching abilities to say: we approve FCV joining ECNL. And we will retain our players. Bunch of 🐱 |
NC and SC teams will vote yes. Is it a simple majority? |
No one cares about the survival of FCV. The players simply move somewhere else. Enjoy GA |
Humble yourself. No one cares. |
|
FCV is still a destination club, regardless of the GA vs ECNL issue. They are by and large going to keep the teams they have at older ages (06 and above).
Is that how new ECNL clubs are chosen? Each club in the conference gets a say? I thought it was a decision made from the top. Is Arlington planning to stay GA too? Their boys are ECNL, at least for now... |
| Less ECNL clubs in area = consolidation of talent. Now I agree, you can have an all star team, but if you don’t have the right coaching around that, the team will fail. So the million dollar question would be, do the current ECNL teams have the right coaches around their teams? Do they recognize or know how to make a team gel? I have seen pro teams with mega stars fail because the coach can’t get them to gel. If FCV coaches are all that, why not jump ship to an ECNL club and try their hand in developing a kick but team. Why sit at FCV with your fingers crossed hoping. |
FCV is not getting ECNL |
We see this is the dream for many local clubs. Loudoun specifically. Things that make go you hmmm |
| The best move for the club is to merge with an ECNL club like Arlington. Arlington is always challenged for field space and FCV has the St James that is not to far away. Very doubtful ECNL will have 2 clubs within a stones throw of each other. The move to Springfield is ultimately the destination for FCV / St James. |
