Which teams have a 30 player roster?!? I've heard 22 - 25 at the older ages (which is not uncommon) but never heard of 30. That's definitely too many, if accurate |

| My older DD played at GFR and graduated two years ago. Her last season, they had 30 players on the roster. In the early fall, that was tough because no one was injured, HS soccer wasn't going on and everyone was showing up for team practice and games. There were also a couple of kids who were dual rostered on other teams. Once the season began, injuries started piling up (at least three players tore ACLs), players weren't showing up for games, etc. and instead of 30 players, it was more like 21. But when HS soccer started in the spring, we were lucky to get 14 or 15 players to a game (even for showcase events like Jefferson Cup). So a large roster has both pros and cons. |

Clearly you do not know how rostering works? These can be players from the 2nd team that are rostered prior to the season so if they do perform well they can get opportunities. |

If they roster that many, find another team
There are good reasons for having a lot on the roster, if a team plays inultiole leagues or other reasons but I don't suspect that's what this club is doing. Looks like they are using it as a profit center. Since they don't have access to the best leagues, they probably do this to survive. This club is well known for playing dirty |
