Why are bad people promoted all the time? And good people leave. |
Do you have a child at the school? |
Can you share the details, please? |
There was an email that went out about some staffing changes, none of which involves filling the principal position with either an interim or permanent. One VP is being moved into a new administrative role, there’s a new VP of Missouri. Not a lot of details. |
| Wasn't hiring a permanent ED supposed to be step one? All these at will changes are going to make it harder for someone to get a sense of what is going on there and get it back on track. Board failure #7629. |
Yes, I agree that the interim shouldn’t be making changes after only a few months on the job knowing that the new ED will be there soon. She seems pretty arrogant from what I know about her. |
|
Interim ED doesn’t speak Spanish.
She promoted a despised VP (who also speaks no Spanish and has no Montessori background) despite numerous parent complaints. I have never seen her once at South Dakota, but she feels empowered to make drastic changes despite her ignorance. |
Don't you mean AP? There is no "VP". And, supposedly the Board was to hire a search firm to begin the search for the new ED. We await this development. Who knows what's really going on. |
VP = AP. I’ve heard both. |
Didn’t think so. |
| It really sounds so great. Like magical. |
The teachers are amazing. Truly gentle and loving and wonderful. The administration is terrible, literally terrible. If someone is moved to another building, you really have to ask yourself why. |
There are plenty of other schools with truly amazing teachers and terrible (or just mediocre) administration. Unfortunately, they aren't as good as LAMB because they aren't magical. |
| Does anyone know how soon after accepting a spot at LAMB we would find out the campus assignment? |
Don't expect it to be fast. You'll be lucky if it's before August. |
