Men in your 50s, do you find women in their 50s attractive?

Anonymous
40yo make here. I find as I age, I become attracted to women in my age bracket. I often wonder if it will be the same when I’m 60, 70, 80.

Based on last 40 years, I’m going to say YES.

As did I my friend. Never again. You only have to read this board to know how many married women will happily stop participating like they used to once in their 50s. That's fine, you make your own choices. I choose to be with younger woman. I deserve it.

51 y.o. woman here with 40 y.o. boyfriend. My drive is higher than his. There are plenty of late 40s and 50+ women who are still plenty interested. My last boyfriend, who was 5 years older than me, had a very high drive. I was happy to meet him on that level of frequency. There are exceptions to the generalization that women are not interested.

How long have you been together?

As an over 60 man, my tastes remained the same. Like you, in my 40s, I was attracted to women in my 40s. As I got older, I was still attracted to them, just as I am now. I got older, the women I'm attracted to did not.

I'm a mid-40s female, so I read with curiosity. I must say though that whenever I go to the forum for 50 and over, all I read about is menopause and farts. Yes, these subjects are important, but I'm completely under the impression that too many women over 50 are not interested in anything but their (mostly) failing bodies. It makes me sad, because I know some awesome single men in their 50s and 60s who have a tough time being attracted to women their age. (Not that it's a hard rule or anything.)

+1 I am dating two 30 y.o. men and generally prefer men under 40. May have to pick one but for now it is working out just fine. Men around my age, 50+ maybe interested but many have not taken care of themselves physically and have ED and other health issues. It isn't just women who let themselves go, are not interested or can't perform.

I am a 52 yo male and agree 100%. The majority of women my age have mostly "given up" on their femininity. The few that haven't are unbelievably attractive to me. There is nothing hotter than a mid-50s woman who is fit, dressed like a lady, with a non-butch haircut. That woman is waaaay more attractive to me than her 32 yo daughter (who might even be a fashion model).

What is a non-butch haircut? Why not just say long hair?

DP. Short hair can be very feminine (eye roll).

Short hair can be very feminine (eye roll).

You better poll heterosexual men on that score if you're trying to date one. Generally speaking, short hair to me adds 10 years to the woman's appearance.

Hair thinning is common for women too as they age. This is why most older women don’t sport long hair when they get older. They can’t. Their hair is too sparse for a luxurious mane. Older women are not cutting their hair short just to appear unattractive and old

That depends on your ethnic/racial group. Long hair is know to add age to a white woman's looks.

I look 10 years younger with a new pixie cut (I'm 40). I'm also short and long hair just weighs me down.

You have no idea how offensive this post is. You will, one day.
