I have read that many book readers did not like Davos asking Melisandre to resurrect Jon because they felt he had not reason to seek out her help. I did have an issue with it, largely because Davos has never liked or trusted Melisandre. He doesn't know what she did to Shireen, though, and she's really his only hope at this point. He is too honorable to side with the NW men who killed their Lord Commander, is one of the few who actually believes in the threat of the WW (even Thorne and his lot are only worried about wildlings) so knows he needs Jon Snow.

I'm not sure I'm following him doing it for Eddard and Tormund, though. Can you explain that a bit further?

I don't necessarily think this is true, time will tell about what this resurrection will do to his vows and to his personality. He is clearly important to the story and how it plays out but I am skeptical it involves romance- Winter is coming!

I love all of that especially if we get to see Ramsey's head on a spike.

I wonder of Sansa may end up with Tyrion in the end... all of her knights have been monsters, maybe she will grow, and realize that Tyrion is the real hero in GoT. I absolutely hated her character all of these seasons until she grew a spine and ran from Ramsey and forgave Theon. Now, I'm pulling for her.
