I cannot stand Kim and think she holds no value for the show. They already have a villan with Brandi. But I also can't stand the dynamic between Kyle and Kim. Kim was over the top tonight especially toward Eileen and Lisa R.

Kim's time as a celebrity was a bit before my time, but was she really that famous?

No she wasn't. I'm fairly certain that the only reason she is still on the show is because Kyle threatens to leave every time the producers want to fire her, as all the tabloids have reported.

I dont know what will happen after this season though. I feel like this was just so far over the line.

Brandi may be a pig but at least she adds something to the storyline. For most of the episodes Kim is hardly even around.

I think she has been enabled for so long. And she is so used to turning to Kyle and expecting her to handle everything. The mindset of an addict. But yes, this was so over the line. I hope she has the presence of mind to watch this season and realize that she needs help. But of course, that would require some self awareness, which she clearly does not have.

Sometimes I think she's not sober and other times I think it's just the story line she's been told to act. Her threats about Harry had to come from someone in production. She's a nobody - she wouldn't have the intel to expose dark secrets about Harry.

Kim sounded like she was possessed. I wouldn't have been surprised if her head started spinning around at the table! What an ugly person, inside and out. I don't think it was an act for a storyline. She hasn't had a storyline in years. She would have no reason to think she better ramp it up or she's off the show. I think she is still chemically dependant and her defensive mechanisms are wayyyy up. When will Kyle move on from this toxic person? What sane person hears Lisa R. telling that emotional story about her sister dying and goes for the juggular like that? Kim is sick. End of story.

As someone who has 3 addicts in her family (all in various stages of recovery), when you see certain behavior, you are VERY on edge about it. It's hard not to be. Kyle seemed to have been an enabler for a while and I feel like she is at the end of her rope. Brandi has now become Kim's enabler. What I have learned from visiting family members in rehab is that all it takes is one pill, one sip, one puff to be hooked all over again. No person who is strong in their sobriety would ever consider taking a pill without knowing what it was. Kim is not a very strong person and is more concerned with what her kids and others will think if they find out she is slipping, than admitting that maybe she could use a refresher at a rehab facility. My family members rehabs had open doors for any person who felt they were slipping and would have them come back for a week to re group.

Am I the only one who sort of agrees with Kim here? Lisa and Eileen have been going behind her back all season discussing her "addiction" with anyone who will listen. They made it a huge issue, I would be upset too.

I agree. I think Kim is incredibly annoying, and I really like Eileen and Lisa V., but they truly need to back off. They're constantly in Kim's face about her sobriety and they hardly know her. Plus, I realize she took that one pill and of course shouldn't have, but that's all she did and now no one will shut up about it. I think if I were under that kind of constant scrutiny, I would probably be super-defensive too. It's got to get old, trying to hang out with friends and have people constantly eyeing you and lecturing you about sobriety and how they all have family members who were addicts, etc. That's all well and good, and clearly they're concerned about her, but IMO they've carried it WAY too far. I could definitely see their side if Kim had truly started drinking again, but she hasn't. I'd be furious if I was managing my sobriety and at every turn, people were lecturing, warning, tsk-tsking, etc. Give it a rest and let her get some normalcy back.

That said, I'm sick to death of Kim's victim mentality about everything else (Monty, her "pains", etc.). She cries at the drop of a hat. So melodramatic.

I agree -- I think they have been talking behind Kim's back and Lisa's been going to everyone trying to drum up support for an intervention.

Didn't everyone think Lisa R. was acting? I thought her whole thing came across as staged and if it wasn't, then I want to know the poop on Harry as obviously there's something they are hiding.

Kim's an addict, that is not new.

Why did Kyle run from the restaurant? I thought that was weird behavior.

Brandi needs to let things go. When LVP told her she shouldn't have said anything she should have shrugged and said, "did I lie?" Obviously Kyle smokes pot but doesn't want anyone to know. Brandi's never going to win, her past behavior is always going to give them an easy way to make her look angry/crazy and discount what she says.

I hope Kyle realizes it. Unfortunately she comes from a powerful family and I guess they have made it clear that they expect she will brush all of this under the rug. Its really not fair to Kyle. I cannot imagine having to live with the kind of person we have seen this season. Kim is a nutcase and honestly a danger to be around.

I am a little surprised that no one here seems to think Lisa over-reacted. I mean she lunged at another person's throat, smashed a wine glass, and basically freaked the hell out. She says Kim is out of control, well she seemed pretty off her rocker. (Does make you think there is something to there being dirt on Harry.)
