Is it just me (??) or is this new season just boring as hell??

Where is all the cat fighting we love? The drama and name calling?

The episodes I have seen so far has everyone just playing nice to each other.

With the new additions of Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson, they have just added a sappy dynamic to the cast.

It's like Eileen is promoting her return to acting in soap operas again while Lisa is promoting her perfect marriage to former Sexiest Man Alive, Harry Hamlin.

Everyone is getting along great.

Who wants to tune in to that??

I agree with the OP. Something has changed, not sure what. It all seems more sanitized. I would like to see more Yolanda and Kyle. I think Lisa, Brandi and Kyle have all started toning down their behavior because they dont want to get ripped apart at the reunions. But it's BORING.

It feels like most of the episodes show what happens with the women and their families, or two-three of the women getting lunch. I was surprised when I saw we're already on episode six (?) and the entire group hasn't gotten together much at all. Once? Twice?

It's not that interesting but I love Eileen, probably because I've watched Y&R since I was in elementary school. She is funny and has great reactions. I think they should use her more and integrate the cast more.

Now that Kyle is getting along with Kim, Lisa, and Brandi, there's not much conflict. I didn't realize what a vector of drama she was before. I actually like Joyce from last season, but there's nobody stirring the pot much right now.

Long time Y&R viewer here. Love seeing ED on the show because of that....but find her annoying/fake (no surprise, really, imo.)

I have been an avid watcher from Day 1 - this season does lack some zest so far.

1) I can no longer stand Kyle. She used to be nice and "normal". Now that DH is making serious coin its all about money. And that bratty ass DD of hers, PORTIA!! brat!!

2) Kim still does not disappoint with her "high as a kite" way of talking

3) Can no longer stand Lisa. Her whole attitude with Brandy is so stupid. And all that Gay Pride stuff - enough. its boring, we get it - you love "the gays". Getting a star in Palm Springs was hardly worth all the coverage Bravo gave it.

4) Brandy used to be interesting, now she is just pathetic. That whole scene between her, Lisa and Ken at her housewarming was just sad. Literally begging to lick their asses. makes her look so weak, pathetic and shows just how low her self-esteem really is. She worships Lisa, no matter how much she tries to tell herself she doesnt. And then asking her if she could "lick her pussy" - REALLY?? she needs therapy.

5) I was a huge Ashley fan back in my Y&R days. Always thought she was gorgeous. She is just self-promoting now, but they all are.

6) I like Lisa R. I think she is a genuinely nice person. Doesn't brag. I think her life is rather humble when compared to Lisa and Yolanda.

7) I like Yolanda this season. didnt care too much for her last season.

It's boring. And I agree with the PP on her comments on the various people.

What's the deal with Kyle and Maurice needing to flaunt their wealth? It's weird.

And Lisa, I used to like her, but can't stand her much anymore. I agree her hangup on Brandy is over the top.

Kim is fluff, always has been, always will be.
