The only reason I can't fully immerse myself in the JD/Erika love scandal is that JD doesn't remotely give off any burning male sexual energy. Everything about him strikes me as having a low libido/asexual. The rumors of him and Erika fooling around probably excite him because it distracts from his lack of sex appeal. No one has ever called him sexy.

Charlie wasn't appealing either, but he has slightly more appeal than JD.
