Club released but asked ECNL to not allow them to transfer to another team so it looks like it’s ECNL being the bad guy and they can claim they “did all they could do” for the families.

did the parents move? Or have a legitimate reason to leave. Not just because its cool to leave?Its odd. Girls were at practice and the next minute they are gone. Parents assumed they at least paid deposits. Players updated SN profiles and all. Sounds like this was indeed messy. And not on the club completely. Lots if kids played well even with the coaching change. Smh wish they stayed.

This is what is so wrong. I wish there were a lawsuit to be had. You go to tryouts and assume it's relatively fair. The. You find out spots are being held for situations like this, which obviates the purpose of the tryout. Meanwhile you pay $4000 for the privilege of being assigned a team that might have nothing to do with how well you play soccer. Some might call it fraud...
