Unbelievable, the desecration.

Imagine if Obama had done this.

Saddest is that once built it's so much work to take down such a monstrosity! The fact that he puts it up is one thing but if we ever fix it it will be such a huge undertaking. This is the prob with Trump stuff - while it's one thing to say that once we change him out things are able to return, the reality is his damage so epic it's not easy

It probably won’t be taken down after he is gone it would be a massive waste of money.

It is probably being built with the cheapest materials possible, not like the stone and steel that is being taken down at the East Wing. He raised $250 million for something that will cost at most, $3 million to build.

Maybe, maybe not. The upkeep and utilities and furnishings for a 90K sqft space is not insignificant.

I don’t understand. Why is it going to be taken down?

Trump said in July that no part of the existing White House complex would be demolished.

He lied.

The contractors and architects are taking a beating right now online and on the phone. I doubt that anyone will ever use any of them ever again.

The architect donated to a conservative PAC years ago. I looked him up on Open Secrets.

I hope Clark gets fined. It was not permitted.

I was just about to ask the name of the architect and the construction firm. Do you know the name of the architect?
And is Clark “Clark construction”?

Who is the architect?

I think emperor is a more accurate term.

Obama wore a tan suit and people had a cow about it.

James McCreary. Just found these. A religious nut who had reservations, but sh-t on the historic building.

I recently read a long piece by Bunny Mellon about how thoughtfully she designed the garden. It will make you weep.
