She’s a lot better looking than her husband.

Damned with faint praise.

She kind of looks like the wicked witch of the west if she wasnt green.

Her neat and trim little figure covers a lot of (beauty) sins. Most women with kids whom I know are either chubby, or else really athletic/mannish. She is slim but feminine and soft.

I think this thread should be ended. I’m a liberal Indian American woman who thoroughly detests all that her husband, and by extension Usha stands for. But I cannot fathom how we are ripping her to shreds over fashion. By all accounts, she is a serious, educated professional and mother, which is exactly how she appears. Not some Trump lollipop with war paint and highlights. I look completely different than her, but also prefer to dress modestly and wear little to no makeup. As liberal feminists especially, why are we tearing women down for not wearing under eye concealer for chrissakes? For wearing comfortable shoes at a stand up all day event? I’m sure her views on abortion and all the other issues are a lot more sensible than her botoxed hubby, but she’s not on the ballot.

Let’s all hail Kamala Harris and swear off tearing women down over beauty standards defined by white people. This is a new day.

She is a dark winter. Black hair. Dark eyes. Someone needs to tell her that the neutral/nude/brown makeup she’s been buying will Never look good on her. She cannot wear it the same way that Beyoncé does. When she is looking for a neutral look she actually needs to be wearing raspberry or cranberry.

Is this the undertone stuff from earlier in the thread?

Sounds like you really don’t know a whole lot of women with kids.

Eh.. if anything, her figure accentuates her stylistically shortcomings. She’s thin, sure. Not particularly toned or “feminine”.

This is a beauty and fashion forum. Discussing how her hair/makeup/style couldve been improved doesnt equate to “holding her to white beauty standards”.

She isn't running for Mrs. USA pageant or auditioning for Love Island, just supporting her husband and father of her three kids into a political contest.

Its a good thing she isnt auditioning for Love Island because she wouldn’t stand a snowballs chance in hell.. the ladies of this season were ICONIC. Incidentally, the woman in the winning couple had a glowing minimal makeup look and wasn’t actively invested in tearing away the bodily autonomy of other women!
