Over $80,000 for state school! That’s insane. |
Sorry you didn't get in. |
Daughter was accepted with a full ride three years ago. Everyone she asked at the school (and what she saw on her own) said that the white and black kids don't socialize together. That was a problem for my mixed race kid who enjoys a diverse friend group. She went elsewhere. |
It’s a private school. If that’s out of budget, don’t consider it. That’s the way this process works. |
That’s even worse! $80,000 a year for a non-name regional college. I guess there’s a sucker born every minute. |
School ranks near the top for Princeton Review’s “little race/class interaction.” Not a good thing. |
Honestly, I could maybe see spending that kind of money for a reputable school, assuming you have money to burn. But for Richmond? You got to be kidding me. Who are these people doing that! |
People with money who have mediocre kids and go for the schools marketing. That’s the target audience. |
We got the same vibe |
I had never heard of it until I moved to Arlington. Don’t know anyone who goes there. Don’t think it really compares to UVA, WM, VA Tech or GM. |
Not good. |
It’s a top 20 LAC. You people are so weird. If it’s not your thing, don’t go. |
No-name regional college? Are you 'tarted? It's the #22 ranked LAC. It ranks higher than Haverford, Colby, and Bates! Your kid must not have gotten in. |
Rankings mean nothing. Easily manipulated. It’s mid-tier. Always has been. Always will be. But you do you. |
No one pays ANY attention to rankings. If you look at them they make no sense. At all. Kenyon #45. Oberlin #55. Richmond #22. Yeah. Right. Nice one. Makes me laugh. |
