Kash Patel.

No way!
He went there?

Same here. I’ve worked in DC Big Law for 25 years. I can’t remember ever working with someone who went to Richmond. I would send my kids there.

Meant - would not send my kids there.

No one from VA goes there. Far Better options at 1/3 of the cost.

Parties run by small group of non-official frats and sororities. Need to be in with the “it” crowd or it can be tough. These typically are the coolest of cool kids at their respective high schools. You will be judged.

I’ve also heard this about UR’s social scene.

Social scene = mean girls

Well there is the $3.2b endowment funded mainly by Robins (Chapstick and Robitussin) but otherwise agree.

The 43 year old US prosecutor who just died of undisclosed causes went to UR undergrad and by all accounts, she was a wonderful, intelligent, and generous hard worker for some of the country’s most vulnerable victims. If you’re really in “big law”, you’re why big law stereotypes exist.

Why 35 pages of slamming a small private school that isn't getting a state appropriation? To each their own. Variety is the spice of life. It takes all kinds to make the world go round. . .

That’s all. Hate that Kelly Corrigan went there. Now I think differently about her. Hate that I judge it but I do.

Says more about you than it does about her.

P.S. Sorry your kid didn't get in.

Nope. Kid got in and decided not to go. Thankfully. It speaks volumes to me when someone goes there. And when someone makes comments like yours. You, dear, are very transparent.

Wow. Don't think I've ever read a thread this negative on this forum!

What exactly speaks volumes when someone goes there? You sound mean spirited.

So negative we are going to admitted students day this Saturday. All this negativity is having the opposite effect. Can’t wait to see it. Lots of schools get no mention on this board at all.
