You are disgusting. I dare you publicly tell everyone you think the victims are "psycho" for reporting the abuse and sexual harassment they experienced. The fact that you think Biedleman should be absolved from wrongdoing, especially because he's black is sickening.

Well this is a public forum so no need to dare me my dear.

Just embrace the troll. I’ve grown to appreciate his work. Although it’s getting a bit stale. Need a new schtick beyond “the MCPS investigation exonerated him so we can’t trust anything”, “there will be more investigations until ‘they’ get the answer they want”, “he didn’t do anything wrong - the lady sent nude pics to him and it was consensual”.

Forgot one more classic: “it’s all gossip and innuendo and anonymous reports that no one will stand behind”.

True but that's accurate.

The only problem is each of these statements is true.

Although the first investigation cleared him, they launched a couple of other investigations that have different conclusions.

I don't know whether he did anything wrong, but the relationship with the woman who sent him nude photos of herself does kind of sound consensual.

I don't think there is anyone claiming that one relationship was not consensual, but:

1) For school administrators, even a consensual relationship with an employee is a violation of the Code of Conduct, not to mention the adultery aspect;

2) There are 34 other people saying they were bulled or sexually harassed. So, you have one consensual relationship and 33 non-consensual touchings, comments, and bullying.

Really this thread should be closed at this point. Theres no new news, and the one or two trolls are actively trying to defame the accuser to change public opinion and could be held libel for the lies they are writing.

I thought it was interesting that Dr. McKnight is proposing a really sizable increase to the MCPS budget for FY2025 for its investigations and compliance team in the wake of this mess. Was surprised that they went so far as to specifically mention the Biedelman case as the impetus for the change.

On the budget, from:

https://moco360.media/2023/12/18/after-presentation-one-week-wait-for-detailed-mcps-budget/

“McKnight also recommended a $500,000 increase in funding for the district’s compliance and investigations unit to aid the district in its commitment to improve the investigative processes.
After the investigation of former MCPS principal Joel Beidleman brought to light the district’s mishandling of sexual misconduct and bullying allegations against him, it has been a key priority to restructure the district’s investigations unit.”

That case will make it rain. That request will probably be doubled or tripled when the budget is in front of the council, but because the council can't control what actually happens to that money, MCPS will be able to spend it on whatever they want.

As long as it goes to creating more central office jobs I think she's down with it.

Those were mostly anonymous or unsubstantiated, so they cleared the guy in the first investigation.
