If Trump doesn’t win, it’s time for a revolution. He asked if it was time to take over the White House. She corrected him and said time to take over the country. She acknowledged people would die, called it “collateral damage.” He said that she said, though it isn’t played on video, that she said her and her family and neighbors have discussed taking over state governments and then moving on to Washington. |
Why would they go to these extremes for a guy with 1 foot in the grave? |
That's their twitter. Eleven Films out of Portland, OR. Do you think they don't have predefined agenda (besides making money)? https://twitter.com/ElevenFilms Go ahead and scroll through all the film they've made in a decade. You don't think they have an agenda? https://www.elevenfilms.com/ |
If these are real Americans giving interview and not actors, then what is your point? MAGAs have been brainwashed into a completely different reality than non-MAGAs. |
For sure, there are lots of people who will vote for Trump who don’t share this woman’s views and are not thinking about a revolution if he loses. However, I believe she is a fair representative of the most ardent MAGA crowd, who worship Trump, attend his rallies, buy all the Trump gear, donate to his legal defense, and believe everything that far right wing media tells them — the ones who cannot separate fact from fiction and only believe things that serve Trump’s narrative. Those people are out there. They’re not the majority of people who will vote for him, but they are the backbone of his constituency. They are the ones who make his candidacy viable. |
Thank you. This is exactly who needs deprogramming. It’s sad to watch, because on a human level you know what a miserable wretch this woman is, but it’s also horrifying. People are going to get hurt in the GOP’s death throes, just like those officers did on 1/6. And it’s completely and totally unnecessary, but no one in the GOP will do anything meaningful about it. |
Even the ones who wouldn’t themselves commit to any violence but believe the lies - they’re holding us back as a country. That we have to sit here and fight fascism like it’s 80 years ago, that there are people who think that fascism will end well, instead of working on global warming and habitat loss and education is horrifying. |
Until we can figure out a way to shut down the right wing propaganda pipeline, we’re not going to get anywhere. At Easter dinner, one of my far gone maga relatives was complaining about Biden declaring it to be “Trans Rights day.” I gently informed him that March 31st has been Trans Rights Day for years, that Biden didn’t unilaterally declare Easter Sunday to be a day dedicated to trans people and he just changed the subject. Why? Because he’s had 30 years of hard right propaganda baked into the cement of his head and every day more disinformation gets packed in. |
And it's going to be hard to shut down that right wing propaganda pipeline, because lots of people are finding out that the same people who are that gullible are also great marks for marking money. Somewhat like the conservative evangelist preachers. |
Huh? |
People who give money to churches and believe right wing lies are easy targets to swindle. Just look at Trump "the billionaire" hoovering up $10 donations and hocking $60 bibles as an example. |
