The elitism at Bullis is way worse and more pronounced than Sidwell. It's a direct product of being in Potomac, MD

Yawn. Two elite, rich schools filled with boring kids and atrocious parents.

I think it’s around 155-160. Class sizes all small.

That is a lot of students.

Do you have children attending both schools? Also, assuming you are correct with your assertion, maybe Bullis is teaching the children more efficiently? Look at the colleges...

DP: I dont have kids at either of these schools, but where a child chooses to go to college has nothing to do with the qualtiy of a high school or eduction. That's just life. Kids go to top colleges from pretty much any high school, which is why these constant threads about "best high school" and the incessant pouring over these kid's choices is beyond obnoxious. It's toxic.

Just reading this post. Hilarious! Bullis is where dropouts from the Big 3 go.

It doesn’t matter how good their college admissions are, the quality of education at Bullis just isn’t on the same level. DS has a friend who was bottom of the class at Sidwell who was counseled out. He’s now close to top of the class (or so he claims) at Bullis.

And that clearly isn't a recipe for success for Sidwell now is it.

Does calling my kids boring and myself atrocious get you off or make you feel better? Stop hiding behind your computer and anonymity on DCUM and go out and do something actually productive with yourself. The need to bash schools, kids and people for no reason is pathetic.

I heard only good things about Bullis. If it fits your kid, it is better than Sidwell. I think the best school for a kid is the one that is the best fit. You would not want your kid to suffer just because the school name is so important for a society of DC elites.

I know, sorry! I mistakenly responded to your post rather than to the vile poster above you. Hence the reason for the double post. I'm glad that you also see how pathetic some people can be.

So true. New money is so much worse than old money.
