You seem unaware of reality.

Bullis is trying to be Yale. The navy. The bulldog. It’s a bit much.

Yes, the PP is clearly a troll and completely unaware of Chicago’s strong reputation and rank.

If you want to feel better about your kid going to Chicago after Sidwell, good for you. Seems like a letdown

🤣 Whenever the discussion turns to Sidwell, you can count on SCORES of miserable outsiders to show up.

If you think any (Sidwell) parent feels bad that their child ended up at the University of Chicago (a universally regarded top 5-10 university), understand that you’re dead wrong. Save your pity for someone far more deserving than a Sidwell and UChicago graduate. They’ll probably be your kid’s boss in the future.

Sidwell and Bullis have the same vibe. Admit athletes to make a splash. Academics are secondary.
Sidwell parents hate this comparison because you know…
Some Bullis parents have way more money, just not the parents of their athletes.
So they are the same but different.
Tell me I’m wrong

U of Chicago is a terrific school. It attracts very intellectual kids. Its admissions rate and SAT range are not far off from Harvard's. Its faculty is one of the most esteemed in the country. What's the problem with sending your kid there?

I'm a Sidwell parent and I'd love for my son to go to Chicago. It's his top choice!

You’re wrong, and you’re clearly a Bullís parent. I’m sure you’re flattered every time someone mentions Sidwell and Bullis in the same sentence (a rare occurrence).

There’s no problem. The people who seem to take issue with it are really anti-Sidwell, not anti-Chicago. You can’t say anything good about Sidwell on DCUM without someone attacking you. Watch…

lol. No it’s not.

The difference between Bullis and Sidwell faculty says much. Why does Bullis have trouble attracting and keeping qualified teachers but Sidwell doesn’t?

Retention rate of faculty is an overlooked data point that tells you a lot about a school. Bullis is a decent school, but it is not in the same league as Sidwell.

Why is this thread on page 25 when it could have ended with “no.”

Is Bullis the new Sidwell prestige-wise?

Sure - once a president chooses it for his/her kids
