List of Toxic Federal Agencies

VA - specifically the Office of Information Technology. What a mess!

They’re all corrupted to the core.

The FS are legendary for that.

Are you just saying corrupt or have you seen something happening? It's not right to just say anything if you are upset about something else.

For those seeking employment here, don't be fooled by the international travel and OIG mission. There is no integrity or accountability here. And this OIG does nothing efficiently. Only come here if you want to get away with murder. leadership will let you!

Which part? Management, Audit, or Investigations?

I just got word that somone was just dismissed from OIG/USAID. Someone that kept that place running. Just days before his retirement. That place is disgusting. It's getting worse by the minute.

If you can get out, GET OUT!

If you need a job look elsewhere. It's not just the Senior Staff that are out to get the employees others are being allowed to take action.

This is the part that gets to me, the mid level and senior staff can't find their way out of a paper bag. The staff that have been holding that office together for many, many years are the staff with targets on their backs. They have lower level supervisors doing their dirty work. Lowering AEFs is the first step, looking at the most petty reasons to target older employees.

Supervisors that haven't stepped into the office in 2 years but want to have a fit on staff members that have had to report throughout a pandemic.

Little people that have no control in their personal lives who abuse the control they have been given, note given, NOT EARNED.

All I can say is they are too stupid to learn. So many have already seen Karma bite them in the ass. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. That OIG isn't just toxic, and smoldering, it's been set on fire and the flames are reaching the rafters.

I swear I feel like there is a deliberate plan on the part of the Seniors to destroy that OIG. They have done an excellent job of doing just that.

Isn't Rich Cordray currently running it? I worked with him to help launch CFPB many years ago. I thought he was actually relatively good at organizational management, compared to most at least.

They are allowing 100% telework so that is appealing to many.

Many agencies are. I was curious what the poster above meant when they said that office is a mess.

My agency is going to bring us back to pre pandemic levels. I’m quitting.

Mine is as well. New political appointees are open to permanent remote work. Senior management dinosaurs are tantruming since they don’t have the management skills to work remotely on a permanent basis. So we are all going back.

Everyone is quitting.

LOL, they tried that at IRS. 100s of 1000s of tax returns sitting in parking lots, still in truck containers. Now 10,000 people being hired to fix a mess that should have never been allowed to happen. When you or your elderly parents don't get your social security check, you are drinking water like the people in Flint, when the lights are out and the grid has completely failed, when the tornadoes hit, hurricanes hit, floods hit and no one comes and there is no State of Emergency, when there is no regulations or no one protecting your rights, remember what you just said. Ohhh, hell that's right, that's exactly what's happening right now. Whoops.

Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it a lot sooner than you think.

That person had been AWOL, didn't do their job, and was getting GS-14 pay. His boss did everything he could to keep that guy on and the guy just wouldn't take the chances given to him. Check your facts before you spread lies.

He's only retiring because he was told to do his job, refused to do it, and now he's retiring instead of being fired. It was not a planned retirement. He would have taken his salary for doing nothing for years. If you defend that, you're a problem.

I thought you could just sit there until the day you retire….at least that what the staff in M does.
