My federal financial regulatory agency, which will remain nameless, has gone so far "woke", that I truly feel whites are discriminated against. The "Diversity and Inclusion" mission is overdone already. It's a very diverse agency and they won't be happy until it is 100 percent minority. Particularly in a few divisions...

USAID leadership is crap new had all hoped post-Trump would come on board and start repairing. But all the political appointees from the administrator on down are so impressed with how humanitarian chic they are, they can’t be bothered with, you know, governing.

I am a minority and overdoing it in either direction is wrong. There is no need to overcompensate. A lot of federal agencies are very diverse.

I also think I work there. One recent promotion was facially absurd. And I'd split the difference on view of whites being discriminated against. No, they aren't on equal footing for promotions, but they aren't being thrown in the dumpster either.

I am too and I agree! I am the poster you responded to. I also work for OPM and collect government-wide stats. I know the financial regulators well. I'm sure there are units that are more diverse than others. but looking at the data, minorities are not even close to the majority (overall) at these agencies.

+10000. Exactly. And doesn't minority include many different groups, including the disabled? I just don't see that where I am. It's a very DC kind of agency. My area is anyway.
