Ukrainian victory over Russia is inevitable

Torture and sexual violence by Russian forces: At least 36 victims from the pool analyzed mentioned the use of electrocution during interrogations, often genital electrocution by Russian guards. Other victims mentioned threats of genital mutilation, and at least one victim was forced to witness the rape of another detainee by a foreign object covered in a condom."

Here's one thing in which Russian soldiers are actually seasoned and competent.

Lol whatever works, Abu Ghraib.

It's not even a defense. The prison guards at Abu Ghraib were prosecuted. Nothing has happened to the Russian prison guards. It just highlights the sanctioned cruelty of Russia.

The Russians have a significant air superiority. But they also have an advantage on the ground. Even the Ukrainians themselves admit that they fire 4,000 shells a day, while Russia fires 20,000.
The ratio of losses in equipment and personnel is 5 to 1 in favor of Russia. Zelensky's regime is severely hampered by its lack of human resources.

I don't think that the biggest disadvantage Ukraine faces is so much the amount of military equipment, which, by the way, is not always of high quality, because the West supplies Kiev with outdated equipment. Ukraine's greatest vulnerability is its people, or rather a lack of them. Its best fighters have long been dead.

Unless NATO directly step into the conflict, Ukraine's defeat is only a matter of time. The West's policy of prolonging the Ukrainian conflict is only leading to more casualties on both sides.

The sad thing is that US and Europe do not care, because their main goal is not the victory of Ukraine, but the weakening of Russia. They are willing to let Ukraine be destroyed to achieve that goal. I feel sorry for the poor Ukrainians. They have been misled by their corrupt leaders, who are using this war to enrich themselves.

I don't think so. Russia doesn't have good soldiers anymore. Both VDV and Spetznaz have been wiped out. Their military hardware losses are extreme - more than 2500 documented tank losses. Thousands more armored personal carriers. Artillery too. Despite their initial air advantage, they can't fly anymore. Both airplanes and helicopters. There are still a few Mi-24s and similar causing damage. But they're getting shot down every week.

None of this is replaceable.

There is zero chance that Russia will ever be able to comfortably occupy Ukraine.

This really is about how weak does Russia want to become?

This is awesome for the west. Russia is destroying itself. Long may it continue. Russia gets weaker every day. Strategically, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a beautiful gift to the rest of the world. All their good soldiers are already dead. Now it's just the convicts and untrained mobiks. It's a meat grinder. Russia is losing several thousand young men every week.

Go for it, Russia. It's pathetic, but it makes the world a simpler place.

LOL that's where you're wrong. The bad and the dumb are dead already. What's left is seasoned and competent. And don't forget: Ukraine's casualty rate is every bit as scary. Russia is taking casualties but they are giving casualties as well. Their military machine is churning out artillery just fine.

TLDR: if things were as bad as you say, Ukraine would have gotten all its land back by now. The battlefield speaks for itself.

Yes, yes. "seasoned and competent"

Pretty soon the Gestapo will just pull out a Luger. No wait, I meant, soon the FSB will pull out a Grach. It gets so confusing sometimes who's who, but in my defense even the propagandists are confused as well; to the point that arguing with each other on National TV is becoming more and more common.

The realization that Russia is in a fully-fledged War and not a "Special Operation" is finally setting in. This will help to revive memories of the Russian War in Afghanistan and their losses there.

Do you think Russia can keep this up for two more years? I don't.

Western tanks are not making any impact either.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-66306150

But so far there's little evidence that Western supplied tanks and armoured vehicles have been able to tip the balance decisively in Ukraine's favour.

Several Leopard tanks and US Bradley fighting vehicles were damaged or destroyed in the first days of the offensive, near the city of Orikhiv.

Ukraine's 47th Brigade, which had largely been trained and equipped by the West to try to break through Russian lines, were soon stopped in their tracks by mines and then targeted by artillery.

Last week, the Washington Post reported that vast Russian minefields had weakened Ukraine's counteroffensive strategy, forcing troops to abandon tanks and infantry fighting vehicles provided by Western governments and advance on foot. This has caused troops to move at a slower pace, killing troops and morale in the process...

Ukraine uses the US-provided M58 Mine Clearing Line Charge (MICLIC) systems, which Zaluzhny told the Post "are also being destroyed," per the Post.

I don't think many people get the significance of Russia shooting down Storm Shadow missiles. They are small, stealthy and fast. If they can be shot down, what does it mean for aircraft?
