If there is any topic that should not be allowed to be determined by mob rule, it's this one. We all know that boundary revisions are within the authority of a school district, and that there will be "winners" and "losers" or at least people will perceive as such. That means this is the last thing MCPS should do is let folks with time and money dictate the process for everyone.

Really hoping for a middle of the road approach (btw, option 3 is not middle of the road).

it would have been nice if Flo Analytics had any background at all in education policy but I guess since they were the only bidders, MCPS didn't have much choice.

DH went in person to give feedback. The response was “Dr Taylor says there isn’t a wrong time to do the right thing”

I'm not squirming. We can afford private and can afford to move. But I think it's a bad sign for the county -- we are certainly not the only family prepared to move.
