Valor feeds fvu so of course valor would release him in this case. Last year we had to wait because of contracts for several coaches.

He announced he was coaching fvu over a month before Valor was kicked out of NVA and went begging to FVU.

False. Valor was not kicked out of NVA. They left because they wanted to stay ECNL.

What is their path to ECNL now? Won't it stop at RL?

Valor joined a million other teams to feed into FVU for ecnl

To you, 6=1,000,000?
With gross exaggerations like this, one would be stupid to believe anything posted by the haters.

Fighting for a spot on one ECNL team from two clubs (Loudoun and Valor) vs SIX CLUBS now means your u-little Ben or Becky has next to no chance making ECNL now coming up through Valor is the point. Valor is no longer a realistic pathway to ECNL.

At least this point was made without hyperbole.

Still, the previous argument was that there was no pathway. Now it shifts to six equates to “no chance” and not “realistic”. It’s like you’re just determined to dislike this club. About 700 families are content. Sure some will leave after the season. But the majority will not. You haters are the minority.

215 pages of complaints.... not a lot of happy customers

Pretty obvious most of the haters are a select few just posting over and over again. Lack of creativity makes it obvious that it’s the same few immature folks repeatedly posting. The loudest voices makes it look bigger.

How is this different for any alliance or union?

By the logic of those saying anyone can tryout for any alliance/union for ECNL/GA/MLSN, so the pathway is fake- the same goes for clubs with their own program. For example, Arlington which has every level up to ECNL- will Arlington deny a spot on their team if a kid from an outside club comes to their tryouts and is noticeably better?

I think what's obvious is that there are 1-2 valor fanboys who post in response to alllllll the complaints and questions from many different parenrs.

Perhaps very few loud “fanboys”. Because the silent majority is made up 700 satisfied families while the loud obnoxious minority fills up 200+ pages of gripes that are actually common to any club.

And all those satisfied families are good with not having a coaching slate out before tryouts? What does "lead" coach even mean? Currently there are age group coordinators, not seeing much evidence of anything except for coaching their team(s). Will lead coaches "lead" the lower team coaches?

Really? 700 families? What a very specific number. How many kids leave Valor each spring? Those families by definition are not happy.

There have been Valor boys at FVU U13 and U14 trainings for a few weeks. I do not know about older ages.

Oh is that why Valor sent out a follow up satisfaction survey after their initial survey to families? And why they’re coming up with an improvement plan based on the initial survey results?

Going to trainings and making a team are completely different. Let us know if they actually make the roster that should have been set a month ago.

That’s also different because it’s going a step up from RL to NL. Doesn’t necessarily imply dissatisfaction with Valor. Maybe those kids are dual rostered or whatever they do to try to make you feel like your kid has a shot at ECNL.

no its a lot of folks posting. People talking about this page has attracted more traffic here. Valor as whole is garbage. Need to clean house. Start with PE

Lots of "happy Valor families" at the first week of Herndon tryouts lol. Valor backpacks everywhere.

They didn't like the first set of answers they got so they sent another survey? Hahahah

Thanks to the poster who confirmed that KO coaches his own kid. Is he the only rec parent type coach to avoid on the "lead coach" list? Does anyone know what "lead coach" means? Is it just the first team coach or do they pick all the teams in the age group?
