Oh they definitely do. Sometimes their posts are incredibly obvious. Like "two different parents" chiming in one minute apart to talk about how great some coach is. |
I didn't see much negative things about him after searching him here.... |
Short answer : Yes he currently coaches second team where his daughter is. questions is "will he bring up his daughter to first team?" |
That's correct. Thank you. SA for older boys |
Yes, I was asking feedback on SOF |
Fighting for a spot on one ECNL team from two clubs (Loudoun and Valor) vs SIX CLUBS now means your u-little Ben or Becky has next to no chance making ECNL now coming up through Valor is the point. Valor is no longer a realistic pathway to ECNL. |
Have these alliances ever actually helped any kid that wouldn't on their own go to a practice or a tryout and make the team? |
Hard hard pass. Thanks for the info. |
+1 |
Nope. With no guaranteed slot per team, these are all fake pathways and alliances. Merely a means to gain field access. That’s why the recruits for 2013 Union is made up of all McLean girls who are no longer part of the “alliance”. They will take whoever they want from wherever they like. |
At least this point was made without hyperbole. Still, the previous argument was that there was no pathway. Now it shifts to six equates to “no chance” and not “realistic”. It’s like you’re just determined to dislike this club. About 700 families are content. Sure some will leave after the season. But the majority will not. You haters are the minority. |

A lot of kids at Valor would not make the equivalent or higher level team at another club. |
215 pages of complaints.... not a lot of happy customers |
| Without guaranteed slots the pathway are just a fake marketing gimmick. A kid trying out for fvu from Valor has no better chance than a random rec kid. There is zero advantage. Its meaningless. |
My reply on feedback request was about Sofian. He knows the game and communicates well with players and it shows in games. Stevie aka Israel on the other hand, believes we should “trust the process” rather than what we are seeing at our games and tournaments. |
