Lots of promotions, any relegations?

yes, Midwest United relegated to the GA, hahaha hahaha

Relegated to GA, but not last in the league in any age group, and are currently top half of the conference in half their age groups. Seems suspicious.

16 Teams in MWC

2012 1st
2011 7th
2010 5th
2009 15th
2008 11th
07/06 15th

The MWC team that should be relegated by never will because their owner is one of the founders of ECNL - is WFC Wisconsin.

2012 - 16th (1-15-3)
2011 - 16th (0-17-1)
2010 - 7th (8-9-3)
2009 - 16th (3-18-3)
2008 - 13th (3-17-7)
07/06 - 16th (3-17-1)

these results are almost same for the last 5 years ... maybe one place different. So 4 of their 6 teams are in last place and just one in the top half of the conference. and it's been that way for years.

Relegated from ECNL to RL or GA to GAA. In our area. Not switching leagues. 🙄

One of the ECNL hats was trying to equate clubs leaving girls ECNL and switching to GA as being "relegated".

Obviously this is not true also I consider it "whistling past the graveyard" if clubs are leaving ECNL and making more money with MLSN and GA.

This thread has mentioned several RL clubs and a couple ECNL clubs that have joined GA. It's a long thread, but the info is there.

the poster was discussing why Midwest United got kicked out of MWC ... the same conference that FCWI is in but doesn't get kicked out. Midwest United is in Michigan...why you talking about them then

forget about trolling GA clubs as being tier 2/3 soccer (low hanging fruit). Let's talk about national events and recruiting. ECNL Phoenix last weekend steeling all the GA NC thunder this weekend. Pull both attending lists and compare. List for GA event this weekend looks like an RL playoff attending list. Pretty clear the top institutions, when having to chose which weekend to attend, all chose ECNL Phoenix to see the top talent in the country compete. The ga continues to look like the old bankrupt league they used to be. Only a matter of time before they file again.

Not equivalent events.

The ECNL event in Phoenix included ALL clubs from the west coast and all over the nation.

The GA North Carolina event had teams from around the nation but the top clubs from each regional league played in Champions Cup in Florida last month + didn't attend.

Correct + either way recruiters are going to focus on the top teams. Leagues can mix the top teams into events like what ECNL does or Leagues can break them out into a separate event like what GA does.
