. The print edition article from 825/24 is not available on line yet😊 so can’t post a link. However the data Clinton presented was “carefully cherry-picked” and used arbitrary cut off points. You’ll have to pick up a paper, if you even know what that is lol |
This is what got the convicted rapist's diapers in a wad: Cotton was asked about this: "“It’s the equivalent of the Congressional Medal of Honor but civilian version. It’s actually much better because everyone [who] gets the Congressional Medal of Honor, they're soldiers. They’re either in very bad shape because they’ve been hit so many times by bullets or they’re dead” And Mr. "I'm an Army Ranger" himself tried gaslighting his way out of it. |
The other lies were: removal of lead pipes, stats about child deaths from guns ( included 19 year olds), Trump as the mastermind of a tax scam, Harris conveniently overlooked Bidens plans for spending cuts in the military when Harris said “ I will ensure the US always has the strongest fighting force” She’s a disaster, proceed with caution. |
Everyone uses the 1988 metric because it is the beginning of the modern globalization era. But sure, even going back to Reagan, it is still a proven fact that democrats are better for the economy. |
Why do they have Tom Cotton on at all? He is 100% gaslighting phony. All these Republican Senators with elite educations who cosplay as populist Trump sycophants should be ignored. |
Cutting wasteful spending is good governance. One can cut defense spending and still have the strongest fighting force in the world. |
You have it exactly backwards, and you know it, gaslighter. Republicans always cut taxes and crash the economy so Democrats are elected to take us out of recession and fix it, which they do spectacularly. But then, once the white suburbanites are doing well again, they decide they don’t want to pay taxes, so they vote for a Republican who cuts taxes and crashes the economy. Repeat cycle. |
Please enlighten us about high-speed job creation works. I can't wait. |
DP. Is this supposed to be in English? |
Not saying I'm a fan of Cotton. I was actually expecting the video to show another faux complaint. But yes. The networks are letting Harris coast and showing their partisanship. It's no longer a rumor. It's out there in the wide open for all to see, which is unsettling. Pardon me for not being comfortable with the networks deciding who should and shouldn't be president. That's supposed to be the role of voters. |
It wasn't cherry picked with arbitrary cutoff points, just using data from 1989, which is handy because we have had equal number of years under R and D presidencies. If you feel that doesn't go back far enough, you can check for yourself, how job growths have been since WWII - the Democrats still come out ahead by about 30 million. |
What the hell is "high-speed job creation"? |
+1. Well said. |
Yup, post (or as near as can be aligned with the start of a president's term) the fall of the USSR. Job growth under Reagan's 8 years in office, robust as it was, is equivalent to job growth under Biden's 3 1/2 years in office. |
I assume you believe you're intelligent. That's fine. America has a long history. The Obama-era is obviously not included and I will add he did a fantastic job as President. As far as the rest, no. Biden did not walk into a recession, nor are we in one now. There was a momentary dip in the markets during Trump, but that was Covid-related panic and temporary. Most people who invested during the Trump-era did well. Similar to the markets under Biden. |
