Trump watched her acceptance speech and had been seething over the weekend.

Of course the polls are showing him behind and he is pissed he’s a loser.

Of course he doesn’t want to debate. He’s a coward and chicken$hit.

He wants to change the rules because he looking stupid as usual.

Loser!

Pretty sure he’s already committed to a debate. Is there new info that he’s backing out?

No, he didn't like the way ABC gaslighted Tom Cotton in an interview, so made it know he can't trust the outlet will be an unbiased platform: https://nypost.com/2024/08/26/us-news/trump-considers-dropping-out-of-abc-news-debate-over-biased-interview-with-sen-tom-cotton/.

I watched out of curiosity and Jonathan Karl was a bit out of line. That said, Trump's still going.

From your "proof" source
"By starting during George H.W. Bush’s term, Clinton skips over Ronald Reagan, a Republican who oversaw the creation of 16 million jobs. Instead, the period covered by his statistic included three Republicans — Bush, his son George W. Bush and Trump — who had poor jobs records. About 1 million jobs were created from November 1989 to the end of the first Bush term, 1.4 million under his son, and then a negative 2.7 million under Trump (because of the pandemic). All three Republicans ended their terms with the country in economic downturns.

By contrast, 22.9 million jobs were created under Clinton, 11.6 million under Barack Obama and 15.8 million under President Joe Biden.

You will note that gives the Democrats 50.3 million jobs and the Republicans a negative 300,000. Perhaps Clinton thought that would sound too fantastical. So it appears as if he dated his statistic from January 1989, which results in a total of 51.5 million jobs, with about 1.3 million for Republicans."

It still shows Democratic administrations are far, far better than Republican administrations at job growth.

Why is it gaslighting to ask him about the felon's statement?
Cotton's the one gaslighting about how it was out of context.

Republicans lost so hard on gay marriage that they've gone quiet about it. That doesn't mean they'll stay quiet if they start winning more power again.

+1 They and their plans Project 2025 want gay people back in the closet.

project 2025 is not associated with trump. He has disavowed it many times

The man lies so much, you don’t know when he is telling his truth or another lie. How do you know he is speaking truth now. What we do know is that the architects of Project 2025 are former members of Trumps White House, the far-right Heritage Foundation, and the republican vice president nominee. So you want people to take the word of a habitual LIAR when the proof is in the pudding that he is for it. We also know that trump agrees with the last person in the room and is easily persuaded by flattery and money.

Trump privately supports Project 2025 because his followers support it.

He also support QAnon because it helped with the white, suburban housewife vote.

He’s lying again. He still supporting Project 2025.

Uh huh. Kamala was Biden’s immigration Czar.

Exactly. What a disaster Kamala is.

Yes but Trump is an even bigger disaster.

Trump would be a huge disaster. HUGE! Picture hand motion, both hands moving rapidly right and left. Huge!

You don't have to picture it. There's a YouTube video to show it!

Even adding Reagan's numbers which are the best GOP jobs statistic since WWII, it means that Replublicans since 1980 have added a total of about $17M jobs to Democratics $51+M jobs. It reduces the difference from 50:1 to 3:1. So including the absolute best record Republicans have achieved means that Democratic administrations still created 3x the number of jobs that Republican administrations have created. And that difference was only due to one president.

Uh huh. Kamala was Biden’s immigration Czar.

Exactly. What a disaster Kamala is.

Democrats create jobs. Republicans give the rich tax breaks.

Businesses create jobs. Democrats raise company taxes and raise wages for low skill jobs meant for teenagers, which cause businesses to close and jobs to die. Watch and learn.

I have watched and learned. Since I graduated from high school, businesses have created fifty times more jobs under Democratic administrations than Republican administrations.

Republicans usually get voted into office when it's time to clean-up after the kids. Historically, Dems spend like crazy on social programs until they set up a recession for the republicans in office. Also, if by create jobs you mean creating government programs that invent administrative positions, then yes. And it's paid for with American's hard-earned tax dollars.

Not to mention, all of the regulations and taxes they create burden small business to the degree they close or struggle to exist. This hardly deserves a round of applause. Dems indirectly are the reason big business wins and small businesses fail. I know. Nuance is hard when you're willing to waste a vote on "joy."

I don't believe you watched the whole video, so I'll spell it out. To Cotton called out Jonathan Karl for calling Harris a moderate dem, by noting her former campaign promise to end private healthcare. Karl said she's no longer doing this, which IS gaslighting because she hasn't voiced whether she'll change her stance on the issue. Karl is making false claims.

ABC is comfortable with calling her a moderate Dem, yet in 2019 she was voted as the most liberal member of the Senate. What changed? My guess...nothing. The networks are inventing a persona that does not reflect reality. I wouldn't be thrilled to debate on their network either. Yet, Trump is pressing on and there will be a debate.

You're either really dumb, or a troll.
This is exactly the opposite and you know it.
Obama came into office after the Bush recession. Biden came into office after the felon's recession.
This kind of idiocy might work with the MAGA types, but intelligent people know the facts.
