Agree. Also no hair extensions/cenrr part/waves, bloated lips, heavy makeup. Not a fan of their politics but she looks sooo much better in these photos than the rest of them ever do. Always so dressy and over-the-top. Clothes and shoes look comfortable but flattering! They both look good.
Agree and think the two white outfits are nice. The Good Friday mass dress is pretty awful. I do wonder what she’s thinking at that mass. I think it’s mostly in Latin and Good Friday mass is a looooong one — I think it’s then followed by a procession from the Vatican to palladium hill but maybe they didn’t join for that. As a non Catholic and non Christian whose husband converted after they were married with kids, she probably feels a little bait and switched.
The Good Friday dress is too big. If it were tailored to fit properly, it would not look so bad.
It’s also very casual. It looks like a swim coverup to me. I think she thought it would be hot so opted for something in a lightweight fabric but it’s just a miss. I’m not sure what I’d wear for a 2 hour religious service indoors on a day when the weather outside is quite hot, though. I feel like this one is not an easy assignment.
PS does everyone remember when Trump took Hope Hicks to meet the pope instead of Sean Spicer, whose one wish in life was probably to meet the pope on an official state visit? There were a lot of comments on this thread because most didn’t know who hicks was an were asking who the brunette in the black mantilla was. As I recall, Melania opted for something really conservative and severe, with a really prominent mantilla, while Hicks opted for black short sleeves (a no no for Vatican protocol) plus the mantilla.
